Me too. Let's have some fun.

I'd like to say I'm somewhat of a relationship expert, so I'd like to answer all your relationship problems.

Why? Boredom mostly. I'm giving you guys a gift so don't waste it.

Question! Why can a god loose their job or get in trouble for liking a shinki?

I think it's more of a 'you shouldn't date' problem.

The person before me is correct. If a god of a high enough caliber is found dating it would be similar to appropriating a god. It would divert a god's attention from their work.

i know that gods should dedicate themselves to the world and not favor one person but

is there an actual penalty for a relationship between gods and their shinki? how about gods and humans? or other spirits? (｀_´)ゞ

or is more that it's simply looked down upon? i mean, now that i think of it it would be pretty weird if there was a love police that goes around policing relationships of what isn't considered good or not!! hey hey is there a love police? and if so do they fire hate-laser beams from their guns??

Not just shinki and gods but gods and humans as well. Shinki and Shinki, and Humans and Humans are fair game. As far as I am aware there's no militant officers stationed to be on patrol for illicit affairs but if it gets public or too scandalous then there is trouble.

sooo, then... there needs to be a solution for those that do have those sorts of relationships!

obviously a love police is out of the question, so!!

1. so that the god in question isn't slacking on their duties while focusing on one individual they're in love with, their burden could be equally distributed to gods of the same domain. there's usually more than one god for a single concept, after all.

2. ascension. the shinki could ascend to godhood! so long as it's born of someone's wish and someone believes in them, there aren't any issues. besides, there a human-gods in the world, and humans who have become gods later, and spirits who later became gods, so this could work. and as a god, the two gods will then be able to live and love freely!!

Very thoughtful theories but I hate to poke holes in them. 1) What you are suggesting is to shuffle a god's duty upon another and that would not be right nor fair for the other gods.

2) Ascension? For a shinki to even utter that word is dangerous. Gods are born gods and shinkis should never be anything but shinkis. Shinkis were humans and still liable to human errors.

So gods are only allowed to fall for other gods? Considering how some pantheons operate, I don't see that as a better option. :T

Unfortunately as far as I am aware of that is how it always have been. With all the rebirth of gods, I am not sure if the old rules still apply but best not chance it.

They can remove you from your god. I am not sure of what happens to gods after they been removed from their title, but it would be very difficult to get back into the far shore.
