I'm curious about this sudden influx of "pets", but this is getting ridiculous. Pigs, dragons, demons, and now whatever this is supposed to be.

I found it in my room hanging from a pile of disgusting cobwebs. I have no idea what it's for, but it appears to be a small hovering device that projects this holographic cube form. The face and "ears" disappear sometimes. It won't stop following me around so I guess it's mine now.

It gets along with the cat. I think it's supposed to be simulating one? It vibrates strangely when I touch it sometimes. Very odd.

Messy-chan is an alien!

It use to go around sucking up people and objects until we made contact with it and sort of explained everything. I don't think Messy-chan can talk but I know they respond really well to what you say! Turning into different shapes, glowing and stuff!

I bet it understands more then you give it credit for!!

So it communicates through something like movement and colour? That sounds about right, but I don't really understand what it's saying. I tried asking it a few questions but it just kept getting in my face and circling around me. [Maybe it's broken...?]

Yep! But it was okay, we got them to return everyone. Messy-chan was just playing around. They didn't understand!

Keep trying! You might need to just change the way you're asking!!

That sounds like a rather dramatic misunderstanding. How did you explain to them not to do that?

Like different phrasing...? I can't exactly speak in shapes and colours. I'll try, I guess, but I haven't had much for results so far.

Its name is Apocalypse. [Which he discovered by chance rather than actually trying, but it was enough to help him figure how to get answers out of it, so whatever. Thanks, Sonic!!]

Surprisingly enough, it can speak perfectly fine with text when prompted. A large portion of data regarding its origins and arrival here have been damaged, and there are also some files that are blocked behind a security passcode. However, it was able to identify me and refers to me as its "master", so it either belonged to me in my past life or has been reprogrammed. It also claims to be a unique entity, so there may not be any relation to your Messy-chan.

Did it tell you it's name or are you naming it that? Apocalypse-nyan~!

I still am going to think of them as distant cousins then! It's too cute not too!

You be nice to Apocalypse-nyan and become good friends! I wanna see Aplcalypse-nyan sometime too!

Just Apocalypse. [...he probably won't bother to correct her again though.] It depends on whether it actually belonged to me at some point or not, but that's what it says I named it and it's been responding much more favourably since I started calling it that. I don't dislike the name, either.

I am still curious, though... Do you know where Messy-chan originated from? Is it a hologram as well? An entity like that is rather unusual.

Messy-chan wasn't a hologram! I could hold and snuggle messy-chan! Messy-chan was an alien from another world! If Messy-chan shows up, can we have a play date?

Ah. Maybe hologram isn't quite the right word for it... some features are completely unsubstantial, but the main "body" feels solid. There doesn't seem to be anything inside it besides energy but it's very heavily concentrated. So yes, it can be held. [and snuggled, and given headpats]

An entity like that would be interesting to observe, so sure. If it's not projected from a device then what is it made of...? Some sort of natural construct of energy?
