Does anyone have any experience with the care of small, white dragons? What foods do they prefer?

What is the best way to determine their mood: head movements? Wings? Tail? Vocalizations?

Specifically, how can you tell when they are about to bite?

[Not that he's failed to tell he was about to be bitten a few times already. Of course not.

There is a picture of a small, snaky-bodied white dragon with a ruff running all the way down its long neck attached. In the picture, the dragon is flaring its wings over a plate of raw hamburger with a look of serious annoyance and its mouth wide open in a silent kyuuuu!]

[Hakkai is sitting at the kitchen table with Jeep perched in front of him and a salmon filet on a plate neatly diced into bite sized chunks. Jeep ignores the piece being offered to him as Goku comes in, head snapping up and around as he lets out a piercing chirp.]

I am sort of curious how Ino and your little dragon there would react to each other. It seems small enough to not be an immediate predator, and Ino's not aggressive.

[... Goku would reply with a greeting of his own, but there's a literal flesh and blood dragon in front of him. It's tiny, but it's totally a dragon, and he's never actually seen one before. He thinks, anyway.]

Whoa, you weren't kidding...

[If he wasn't already grinning enough, it's just spreading even wider. Hakkai said to be quiet, of course, so he's trying his best, but he's still excited!]

What's his name? Did you give him a name yet?

Ha ha, Gojyo gave him a name, in fact. It's Jeep.

[Jeep seems deflated by the exchange, head drooping back down and wings sagging as he emits a mournful little coo. Hakkai reaches out to run a finger over the top of his head, murmuring:]

How is a tiny white dragon your car?

A robot shaped like a dinosaur and infused with dinosaur DNA.

The resemblance is really only in passing.

[The sad noise and body language gets his attention, though, and Goku settles down in a nearby chair, leaning forward with his arms on his knees.]

Is he okay? He sounds kinda sad.

[Part of her wants to tell him that's ridiculous because science, but then she remembers the entirety of her last year before coming here and all the fight drains out of her.]

I see.

It doesn't seem to be hurting him or Sanzo or Goku to have the dragon around, so my only real concern is why this is happening at all. I thought the Heavens didn't want shinki to remember anything.

He was in my bedroom when I woke up this morning. I think we were equally surprised!

[Jeep's neck arches dubiously, and he tilts his head to observe Hibari with one coal-black eye for a long moment before his head darts forward to snap at the chunk of fish.]

His name is Jeep.

[Hakkai has a tiny, genuine smile on his face as he watches Hibari offer food to the little dragon.]
