Good morning, all who dwell in the Far Shore! I must speak with you about an urgent matter - and so I resolved to use this device once more, to the best of my ability.

[ She holds up a single finger. ]

I have just learned that the regular training scheduled to engage with new gods would be in service of one new god! So I have made the following bargain with Amaterasu-sama -- that I would personally speak with and train this new god in the ways of the Far Shore in exchange for a holiday excursion for all who would join us! I just... could not stand idly by after you all worked so hard and dealt such a blow to those who threatened us!

[ She lowers her hand. ]

There is just one small problem...

[ She looks expectantly up once more, a resigned sort of smile there. ]

I do not know all of you as well as I would like! So if I were to bring a suggestion or two for such an excursion before Amaterasu-sama, I do not know what that should be! I have... certainly never been able to consider such things myself, so I would not be a good person to decide for all of you.

Therefore, would you do me the favor of telling me: where do you consider a beautiful place to travel to and relax? Perhaps a place that is better suited to entertainment? I heard of a place called Capypa Land...

[ She shakes her head. ] This is not about me. [ And calms herself again. ]

Unfortunately we do not have much time, so please-!!

[ She bows her head, a little awkwardly since she's holding the phone. ]

I don't know that much about where people'd like to be, but...

What about the beach? That seems like it'd be fun. Or I heard something about vacations on big ships, not that I know what you'd do on one of those.

... it's a nice time of year for beach and party in some of the warmer places. Not too scorching hot and not too cold.

Which also means you could use said pantheon to travel there whenever, but hey, I'd go for the two-in-one beach package and shrine set up if the opportunity arose.

You can't deny it'd be a little entertaining to watch.

I've heard that the waters of the Republic of Palau are especially clear and the people living there are use to tourism.

I also agree a beach trip would be nice. A change in weather is welcome.

For areas around Japan, how about Miyakojima in Okinawa Prefecture? Plenty of picturesque white sand beaches, coral reefs for great snorkeling or diving for anyone that wants to go further out. For people not interested in swimming, there are some nice parks and scenic spots nearby. Lots of great local shopping too.

If you'd like to aim for a beach outside of Japan for some variety, Hawaii might be nice.

I was thinking in terms of what would be easiest via shrine teleportation, but Amaterasu does have shrines in Hawaii.

Do you think currency exchange would be an issue though?

Yeah, accessibility would be a thing to take into consideration when choosing a location, but she does and as long as we have permission to use her temple to go back and forth that wouldn't be an issue.

I don't think so. Many Hawaiian stores accept yen, since there are a lot of Japanese tourists coming there, and there are several good currency exchangers around the place as well for the few shops that don't accept yen. It shouldn't be any problem. Mainland USA would be more troublesome, but not so much Hawaii in particular.

I've been there but not as a shinki. I don't really talk about remembering a bunch of stuff but I know that I was born there, and I remember being back years and years later with a few fellow service members.

I would say that Capypa Land sounds fantastic but I would be as happy with a beach trip.
