[Edge puts himself on full view in the video for the sake of people who don't know him, emphasizing things such as the mask, the cloak, the weapons at his side. Though it isn't a black stealth outfit concealing his form entirely, what else could anyone call him but a ninja?]

Hello, everyone! My name is Edge, and as you've no doubt deduced, I am a ninja. More to the point, I'm a ninja willing to teach those who want to learn the techniques I have to offer. Stealth, disguise, throwing weapons, combat techniques both armed and unarmed that focus on quick and aggressive takedowns -- I'll even teach what ninjutsu I can, if I find students with the knack for it. All of these are techniques we can use in our efforts to fufill prayers, fight ayakashi, or investigate trouble in the Far Shore or the Near. Of course, you don't need to learn all of them, if you're only interested in stealth, or physical combat, or whatever suits you!

[Edge glances to the side, slightly.] This was... originally intended to be a joint effort with Ayumu. I think she would want me to continue it, though I'm not going to be able to teach everything she could have, so sorry about that.

In any case. [Putting that somber thought behind.] If you're interested, do let me know. Classes will be held at my god Saber's temple, flexible times for people who might be busy. We'll work it out once I know who's in. Hope to see you there!

No way..! You're the one announcing it, so there's going to be tons of people flocking to it! [ Because apparently Minako thinks everyone decides on following a class or not on whether the teacher is handsome or not.. ]

It's nice of you though to still do this, even though that Ayumu is gone. Just don't overwork yourself by taking on two people's worth of a job!

Don't worry about me! [Though then he corrects himself after a moment.] Well, okay, worry about me a little, it makes me feel a mile high. But I can handle this just fine.

Going to put in an appearance yourself?

[ While Minako might normally not have considered signing up for something like this-- ]

Do you want me to?

[ --of course she can easily be persuaded by the right people. And now a little bit of time has passed, she sure wouldn't mind spending some friendly time with him again. ]

Or do you just want me to stop by and make sure everyone is nice to you? I'll have you know I'm super good at kicking people in the shins right where it hurts!

[For a change, Edge takes the question seriously instead of flirtatiously.]

I think it might be good for you? One great trick is to look completely innocuous and harmless, then attack hard and fierce. That'd be a great technique to use against an ayakashi -- they'd think a sweet innocent girl would make an easy target, go after you, and then bam! [He punches his palm dramatically, emphasizing just how much they'd regret that mistake!]

[But after a moment, he drops the serious look and runs a hand through his hair.] Honestly? I'd like you to learn something at least, from me or someone else. I like that you don't flinch from danger, but I'd also like you to have a lot of ways to handle the danger you don't flinch from.

[Minako has been good for his maturity.]

[ It's not exactly the kind of answer she expected to her (half-)joke. It's not a bad kind of surprise though, since he wouldn't bring that up if he wasn't worried about her - or at the very least, wanted to see her be okay.

And for all her bravado, Minako can't deny that she's slightly more helpless than her bravery allows. ]

How am I supposed to say no when you put it like that..

[ She says it in an almost sulky way, but it's obviously a joke, since she smiles again right after. ]

I guess it couldn't hurt. I mean, it's not like it'd help much when a vulcano is involved, but it should at least make ayakashi more doable.

Well, I hope you wouldn't say no! Especially since I can give you some hands-on training...

[The awkwardness of before hasn't, apparently, diminished his willingness to flirt. Maybe to act on it a little, but words are cheap and she remains a cute girl!]

[ She laughs - apparently she doesn't mind the verbal flirting at all. It feels a little easier to know where the boundaries are now. This is still something she can deal with without her emotions kicking her in the gut. ]

Oh, come on! You're going to make everyone else jealous! Aren't teachers supposed to treat all of their students equally, even ninja teachers?

I'll be such a good teacher and you'll be such a cute student that everyone will allow me that momentary lapse, I'm sure!

[Things are back on an even keel, aren't they? She won't see the regret he feels that nothing more can be between them.]

Well, I am very cute...

[ Even though not everyone acknowledges that! Edge still does though, despite everything that's happened, and it makes her smile. ]

So.. should I bring something special for the lessons? Do I need my very own ninja outfit?

Outfitting is an important part of ninjutsu, depending on what techniques you choose to incorporate. My own, for example, is more designed for stealth than you'd think! But it also sports an arsenal of throwing weapons, all of them close at hand for quick drawing. So we'll talk about that as lessons go on.

[ Hey, talk about outfitting sure is something Minako is interested in. The rest too, but.. you know! Who says you can't learn something useful and still have fun while you're at it? ]

Is that why you wear that mask too? You know.. To be all sneaky?

[ Minako, you can recognize him even when he wears it, you know.. ]

It keeps enemies from reading lips -- or even knowing that I'm speaking at all, if they aren't paying attention and it's otherwise loud. That's a boon in battle where sometimes a quick plan your enemy doesn't know is vital to success!

But most of the time you're not in battle, right?

[ And while she is genuinely curious about that, she doesn't want to make him too self-conscious of it.. So she spins it into kind of a joke as well, just in case. ]

Or do you think I'm secretly an enemy spy?

A spy, never! But most definitely a thief, with my heart as a target! It would be foolish to make too much of a target of myself!

Besides, I feel more comfortable with it on. Probably something from life, you know? [Most definitely a shrug to go along with that.]

[ That mask isn't helping you much when she already had her target caught, Edge!! But Minako won't bring that up - it's still a little too raw for the both of them even if they can already act like this again. Instead she just happily laughs at his dramatic antics. ]

I get it, I get it. Maybe you just wore it so much while you were alive that it'd almost make you feel naked without it on?

[He chose his words deliberately. The pretense is important for both their sakes, to reestablish the old dynamic and keep it flowing. And it helps soothe the sting as well.]

That seems likely. My whole outfit feels that way. Like it's a badge of honor.

A badge of honor, huh..

[ With the way she repeats it, it sounds like she's thinking about that idea for a moment. Not in a bad way though - her usual cheer is still there, especially when she continues. ]

You make it sound pretty cool! Who knows, maybe you were some sort of super special important ninja during your life. [ An idea Minako will gladly uphold, even without any basis to it whatsoever. She just likes lifting people up, especially since she still feels kind of guilty about the whole thing from before. ] It wouldn't surprise me.

It wouldn't surprise me either! After all, look how cool I am already! [Edge, of course, has nothing in the way of modesty -- even not knowing how right she's guessed!] Still, even if I wasn't super-special in life, I'm clearly that important now, so if it wasn't then, it IS awesome here!
