So, did anyone else run into the kid god on the volcano? I hear the Heavens have been claiming he was defeated, but me and a few others were there for that and "defeat" isn't the word I would have used. It looked a lot more like he sealed himself away or escaped.

We need to be prepared for the possibility of him coming back, but if anyone actually got him to talk instead of just retaliating, it'd be useful to have that information to work with. I get the impression nobody told him what he was going to be dealing with, but he definitely thinks us and the old gods are one and the same, so he's going to need convincing if any of you decided there was a misunderstanding.

[Or, as he doesn't really want to put it in case the Heavens are overseeing the conversation, in case anyone decided they want to protect him. Shun's been meaning to do this for a few days, but he's been given even more reason to be focusing on work in the last two, so why not use this to take his mind off things a bit.]

What gave you that impression?

[Shun didn't get the chance to actually speak to him properly, so even if he'd consider this guy's opinion questionable considering recent events, he did ask for information.]

I talked to him. And unlike a certain other kid god I could name, this one didn't try to knock my head off just for asking a couple questions.

[Shun is less than sympathetic to Gojyo's attitude there.]

He was perfectly happy to attack us for trying to stop the eruption, so my sympathy is limited if that's all the "reason" is.

That's rich, coming from the guy who stormed Amaterasu's temple with a weapon out because he didn't know something that's common knowledge.

It's the "official" story. If you want to correct me, go ahead, because you're not exactly doing a good job of convincing me you're not that stupid right now.

I can guarantee you I couldn't give a damn what you look like, considering you're mostly talking out your ass regardless. If you weren't planning to say anything useful in the first place, you might as well have not responded.
