Is it normal for items to just 'show up'? When I woke up this morning there was a sword in my bed--stabbed through my bed next to my face. I'm fairly certain it's not my god's or his other shinki's.
... if you misplaced a sword in Ler's temple, I'd like to know why it had to be next to my face while I was sleeping.

[ Remind Ryoma to lock his door at night, Google. ]

[He's not offering or anything, but he might have a few ideas up his sleeve.]

[ One small bird vs the sword fairy: fight. ]

[Correction: Sword fairy vs. one small bird WITH A SWORD.]

No one broke in and did anything. There's no need for guarding.

also wow dad screw you you're not the boss of ryoma except you are ]
So we're calling 'stabbing a sword through a mattress' nothing?
I'm afraid to see what counts as 'something' to you.
I haven't done anything drastic enough to earn murder as a reprisal, all besides.

[He's a drunk BUT HE CAN DELIVER A BURN.]
'Sides that, what's this about weird things happening being normal? Is it the same with everyone?
no subject
Weird things do happen. People have fallen asleep for long periods of time, and woken up with new memories. It's not impossible.

For one thing, Qrow, my sense of humor is perfectly intact; I'm sorry my occasional foray into a joke is too hard for you to catch onto.
For another... swords don't just come out of nowhere. Neither would someone fall ill and suddenly remember some nuance that'd been taken from them. That's too convenient of an answer.

[Thus is the difference between a Shinki used to technology and one who isn't. :|]
And I hate to say it, but I agree. That just sounds too easy to be real. Where's the catch?
no subject
I've seen it experienced in someone who I trust. You're free to find others who have gone through the same thing if you doubt me that much.
no subject
You've told a joke before?
And yours aren't better, Hak. It's not that I don't trust you--though realistically speaking, I shouldn't, I don't trust... anything, really. Too many things fall into neat little boxes that people just excuse and ignore. It's not wise.

[He'll eat the Google before the Google eats him.]
It's just asking questions. I can't sit here happily and not have any answers to anything.
no subject
I don't tell jokes.
Look. I can't tell you anything except my own experience. Feel free to ask others if you want more information.

[ Good luck with that, birdbrain. ]
If you say so. What happened, in your experience? To whom?
no subject
Off that topic: I'm curious too. Wanna meet somewhere to chat so we can get off this damned thing?
no subject
If so, let's meet for tea.
no subject
I'm not arguing. [ Because he's not wrong. ] Where would you like to meet?
no subject
[He wasn't arguing, either.
Except he was.]Just tell me where to go and I'll be there.
no subject
[Location for a tea place that Ryoma stopped by while avoiding Hak's halloween decorations.]
I'll see you there in an hour.

[ Also known as shut up you technology reliant bird when the robots come you'll be the first to die because Ryoma has a sword and can ride a horse. ]
Ah. The 'mall'. I remember how to get there, I think.
no subject
A mall? Nice. That'll stick out no matter where you are in the city.
[There were times when being familiar with technology helped. This was one of them.]

[Hak doesn't have anything but his robe, that's not the point, though.]

[ "Sweat pants" are a strange, archaic invention... but white is really hard to keep clean when you're wary of the washing machine. ]
