Is it normal for items to just 'show up'? When I woke up this morning there was a sword in my bed--stabbed through my bed next to my face. I'm fairly certain it's not my god's or his other shinki's.

... if you misplaced a sword in Ler's temple, I'd like to know why it had to be next to my face while I was sleeping.

That's...interesting. A week or two ago, we found a sword stabbed in the roof of Caireen's temple, scabbard nearby. Neither my Goddess or myself know why it was there, although she seems to think it's 'mine'. I don't have enough memories to tell one way or another.

It also showed up overnight, as far as either of us is aware.

[ Ryoma has the sense, at least, to be waiting in a simple shirt and pair of sweat pants--he's been a good boy about not wiggling into the armor no matter how much safer he feels in his crustacean suit. He's got the sword in question sheathed and resting at his hip. It just feels... right, holding it like that. ]

And there was a bird inside it.

And I found another crystal thingy in the refrigerator with a behemoth inside.
Bottom line is that cool stuff just shows up all the time.

If it's a threat, then they're picking the wrong targets. I'm pretty sure there are better targets and more likely ones than Mai or myself. I don't think it's a threat, but it's definitely odd. Especially how it was done with you--sympathies.
