Does anyone know what the best way to get a gun would be? I suppose I could simply steal one from the Near Shore, but it doesn't seem right.

If anyone is willing and able to provide a gun, I can pay you in good fortune of some sort; I have some control over that as a god. I don't really have much money here in the Far Shore, even if I was rich while I was alive...

...I mean, besides whoever or whatever I might be pointing the gun at. If I'm pointing the gun at someone, presumably I want harm to come to them. But I'd never want to hurt any innocent bystanders! And with my luck, that'll require me to be extremely careful.

I'm glad to hear it. Well, I guess we'll probably want to get a lock of some sort for a gun as well if that's the case, right?

I suppose so...but why? You're the only other person in our temple, and I'm not worried about you taking it. I don't think you'd really want anything to do with it...or am I wrong?

Someone could break into our temple, couldn't they? I mean, I'm positive that the majority of people around here wouldn't have an interest like that, but we should still think about it. Besides, there are things like that strange cult god.

I suppose...precautions certainly can't hurt, anyway. I was thinking of just carrying it on me most of the time, though...after all, it won't do me much good locked up.

Granted, I could always teleport to get it if I need it, but there are certain occasions where teleporting gets punished rather heavily. Such as the forest incident again. And, of course, there's the potentially dangerous combination of someone with my luck carrying a loaded gun all the time...even if I never take it out, who knows what could happen...

I will admit that what you've told me about your luck did make me a considerable deal more worried than I normally would have been, which is still a fair bit.
