Greetings! I know that some of you met me the other day during the training session at the Heaven's meeting hall, but I would like to formally introduce myself to those who haven't. I am Ebisu, God of Fortune regarding commerce and fishing.

I've been very busy as of late, but things have slowed down enough that I think I will be able to interact with this new generation of gods and their shinki. I hope to work alongside all of you as best as I can.

Please treat me well.

You don't have to worry. I had heard good things before about all of you but this is the first time I was able to get a firsthand look at it.

I have a question about our generation, as you put it.

At the meeting, it was mentioned many gods have been reincarnated with unfamiliar faces. That I understand is new and no one knows why it happens.

When a god of our generation disappears, does that mean they cease to be reincarnated?

I'm not sure.

A god ceases to exist when humans cease to believe in them. That's not something that you would consider a quick process, with the exception of religious genocide, but I don't believe that can apply here.

Another question; it's said sometimes gods become shinki and shinki become gods. Has a god ever become another god?

Honestly, even a shinki becoming a god isn't within the norm. If you're trying to apply such thinking to all of you, I'm not sure how much would match.

Kiwami says you would have to ask those belonging to the Greek and Roman pantheons.

[A fair point on both ends. Through light reading about mythology, the overlap between gods between the Greek and Roman pantheons and some other pantheons has been noticed. Are there Greek and Roman counterparts reincarnated in the heavens? A question for the ages.]

It's interesting how things can remain the same for so many years and then have a sudden upheaval no one understands. Makes one wonder what kinds of changes will be seen over the next few centuries or millennium.

Are there other unusual and/or notable events that stand out to you or your shinki?

I would have to ask more of my shinki. I am recently reincarnated, so I don't know much.

Is there a way I can get in touch with your shinki? Only when they're free though, I realize they're very busy.

I plan to invite guests at a later date so that they can see how my temple is run, and how economics are handled, with my shinki explaining things. If you would like to come, you're more than welcome to.
