Accidental Video - Heaven's BBS - October 30th

[Usually after his morning fashion routine, can be seen out and about in the Far Shore, or at least behind his temple tending the lotus flowers in his garden. Today, however, he is nowhere to be found. This might be a cause for concern if not for the video feed that is eventually broadcast from inside his temple. There's a light meow from one of D2's cats briefly pawing at Forrest's phone as the feed clicks on, showing Forrest still dressed in his bathrobe and slippers, hair pinned up, and utterly riveted to a marathon of Say Yes to the Dress. And apparently he's just as opinionated as the various bridal entourages on the show itself, judging from the things he yells at the screen every so often. Excerpts follow.]

Oh, honey, no, listen to Randy!

That's awful! Your mom isn't getting married in this dress, you are!

Aww, don't listen to them, I think you look absolutely darling in that lace!

Oh... that's just... oh. Well, I suppose the important thing is she likes it.

It's called Say Yes to the Dress. It was on this morning when I was getting ready, and I haven't been able to stop watching.

[As should be obvious.]

Aha... is that what it's called?

[He can't help but laugh a little himself.]

If you haven't had to switch channels in order to see the next episode for hours and hours with the only breaks being for commercials, then yes Forrest, that's called a marathon. Some people run for miles, some people watch Say Yes To The Dress until the TV people stop airing episodes.

[ She loves you Forrest, really, it's just moments like this when she remembers that he hasn't encountered EVERYTHING the modern world has to offer. ]

I'm not sure if I would regret introducing you to recording shows like this that you like so you can watch them later.

[ The feed runs for a while, and at first, Hibiki is inclined to ignore it. She has a party to finish making other people prepare for, after all, and lots of smirking and imagining of her victory to do. So very busy.

But eventually, she cannot take it, and reaches for her phone (not without a few twitches, though she calms down once she has the device in hand). This intrusion cannot stand. Hibiki has to speak her mind, once and for all, about this accidental voyeurism she is being made to endure: ]

This year's designs and conflicts are all rehashes of earlier material. There's no attempt at reaching new heights.
