Personal happiness or loyalty. Suppose choosing one comes at the cost of the other, which would you choose and why?

What does it take for someone to earn your loyalty?

Be nice. Be around. Don't lie. Helps if they're cool. But I chose, not someone else. That's important.

That simple?

It's not simple. That's not how people act.

I suppose not. Things can look simple, but things rarely end up that way.

People can lie about being nice. and that other stuff. that's why it's important to be careful. YOU chose, not someone who likes your hair or something.

if your loyal to someone who is really bad or something, that isn't good. for anyone.

Trust me on that.

I'll keep that in mind.

What do you do if you find out you were loyal to someone bad?

We killed a bunch of them and ran.

mom says that was bad but we didn't know. i think they deserved it.

usually, they're not as bad as that. then maybe just stop talking to them I think.

Seems justifiable to me if they were that bad, killing them that is.

I don't put much stock in luck. Unpredictable.

But this place is nice from what I've seen.

No one is being forced to fight.

they said shinki are weapons, too. did anyone ask you to be a weapon? because no one makes a weapon not to use it.

Aside from sparring with others, I haven't fought anything since I was brought here.

I hate it.
