Is it normal for people to stay asleep for some days straight in this place? Because it's been about a few days since Ginger collapsed asleep and it's pretty freaky.

I tried searching, but it doesn't actually yield any results. So it seems to be a 'heaven' thing.

Ginger is Lavi by the way.

[ You can see where the surprise of that came in, having expected the previous comment being more of a tease or joke. He's not exactly nice to people, including Futaba. ]

No, I haven't been here nearly long enough to grind that kind of reputation. It's in newbie land with the others. Look for the barren wasteland surrounded by glowing green orbs. Can't miss it.

You say that, but my god managed to go from the poverty zone to here in central within a week. He hasn't been a god much longer than I've been here.

[ That's because Izumo's a special case, like how Hakkai was able to move districts so easily. It's about an hour before Futaba gets another text as the magi is hovering through the barren land, albeit he's a little distracted from looking at some of the orbs. ]

Yeah, saying Great Old Ones doesn't really mean anything to me. I don't have the same understanding of these things that most people do.

Most of them are huge shifting masses of eyes, teeth, and tentacles.

Yeah, I'm noticing that. Not as slimy as they look, though.

[ Instead of replying, instead he just pockets the phone and goes through the front doors.

Definitely not normal, or the style of Izumo's temple, but the outside of this place didn't match any of the other temple grounds either. ]

Huh. Freaky.

[There's a flash of green light as he walks through the entrance to the temple, and he finds himself walking back out into the temple's living quarters. Futaba emerges from a large gated room at the end of the hallway, wearing a green bodysuit and a pair of goggles.]

[ Is this what an alien is meant to look like? Judar backs up at first, not sure what to make of the sight. Until he hears the voice and the realization of who this was not just has him relieved.

He fails to resist the urge to laugh. ]

[She shrugs, lifting up the goggles.]

It lets me interface with the temple's security system.

It looks more like the set up for some really weird roleplay kinks.

[ What he means is that's a very unfortunate way of 'interfacing' with anything. Ah, though now he's giving a look over the bodysuit itself.

The design's unfortunate, but there's an appeal to bodysuits overall. At least that's what he's decided for now. Ah, no. He still can't stop the laughter behind everything he says. ]

I mean, we could, but not with that head stuff.

Geez, you're as pervy as that book guy.

[She lets out an irritated sigh, shaking her head.]

Stay here, I'll go change.

You're the one that came out in some weird skintight outfit. The look itself is ridiculous, but at least you've got a nice figure.

[ And he's both not blind and open enough to put out the offer as a casual thing. Because why not, right? ]

But yeah, go on and change. I'll just stay here...

[ Alone. In some weird temple. He's not even going to wait for her to be gone before floating and reclining in the air to relax. ]

Yeah, yeah... everyone's a critic.

[Futaba waves off both the criticism and the compliment, heading into her room and emerging minutes later in a much more conventional outfit.]

Ahhhh... that's better.

[Stretching her arms out above her head, she stands up on tiptoes for a moment before letting out a sigh.]

[ He can't help but look her over- it's not just for skeevy purposes though. This is all a part of how he's learning about the modern world a little better. While he's certainly dressed casually and fitting for the time, it's not completely his style. He tried, but had gotten a lot of help by someone far more sophisticated than him.

He'd ask why there was such a loose belt, but honestly? Everything Yata wore was a lot dumber, so it was a minor oddity. ]

So is that the modern fashion or what? The only time people seem to be anywhere near the same page is during those formal events.

[Futaba's honestly not used to being looked over like that, so she shuffles her feet in place while he takes his measure. She's trying not to let it show on her face too much.]

I guess so. I just wear what's comfortable, really.

If only it were always that easy.

[ He just wants to know what the common ground is supposed to be for all these clothes, for what counted as looking good. Not that that's what he was here for. There was another subject to learn about. ]

About those video games...
