[The video is opening  on a shot of a sprawling flourishing garden, the focal point is a newly placed planter of flowers.  Then Alan is turning the phone to himself as he moves to sit next to that same planter, beaming happily.]

Miss Hibiki, if you happen to see this the flowers you've given me have settled in as nicely as I have. I believe you are right and I shall like it here.

[He laughs softly before smiling kindly abet awkwardly.]

To those of you, I've yet to meet salutations. My given name is Alan Humphries though like many I've taken on the duties of a god. Persephone to be more exact. I waited until I've gotten my temple in order to announce myself. If any of you have need of herbs and plants; as well as assistance with finding or caring for them feel free to contact me.

Well this kind of hobby is for everyone not just gods. I have many of those. I have some that are good for headaches, digestion, and coughing.

To be honest, I have no idea what herbs could be used for such things but if you happen to have a list I could assist.

They certainly are. Lemon balm can as well. If you should like I have several books on herbs and their uses. I'm always willing to share such knowledge.

Plants if you have them or perhaps you'd be willing to share some of your knowledge. You said you knew of Eastern herbs and their usages.

I could certainly be willing to give you a plant or two. Does the color of it matter?

I do have some knowledge of traditional cures, yes. Should it please you, I would be happy to share it in return, or perhaps to prepare some medicine you might have use of in the future.

The color is immaterial. Any would please me.

I would like either of those options very much. It's very kind of you to offer such a service. Medicine is always useful.

Actually, if you might happen to know of any for coughing and tightness or pain in the chest that would be most helpful.

You're most welcome. I live in a temple in the western section in the woods. I'll enclose a map. It's a rather large manor with a stone wall and rose hedges. It's rather impossible to miss.

Is it a dry cough, or something thicker?

Certainly but don't hurry on my account. I've an entire library to go through.

Yes. I know the cause of my cough but there's nothing to truly be done other than to treat symptoms as they arise.

I would say it's dry, bouts of coughing triggered by distress.

A chronic condition, in that case?

May I ask how long it's troubled you?

I'm afraid so, yes.

A couple years at least I believe. It's rather hard to tell how long it was there but little more than a flare of fatigue or something small and easily overlooked.

Around how often does it flare up, generally?

It varies.

If I'm not overexerting myself or in distress just a couple of times and then it's very mild.

But if I am in those states it can be fairly frequent. Thankfully that hasn't happened yet since I've been here.

How long ago was it that you arrived?

I was one of the August arrivals. It hasn't be too terribly long at all.

I hadn't realized just how newly arrived you were. Hopefully you're settling in well.

It's quite fine. No need to worry. I've been doing rather well. I took the first few days to fix my temple up to my liking and get familiar with it as well as my Shinki.
