[Hello, Far Shore.

What greets you today are the wonderful faces of these dinosaurs. They both look livid.]

Hey! Don't scare people off if you want answers!

[The dinosaurs seem to huff but back off as Gohan appears on the screen.

The god rubs the back of his head, looking sheepish.]

Uh, sorry about that, but I was wondering if anyone's seen a couple of eggs. They look like this. [He directs the screen to the nest of eggs.] It's not anywhere around my temple grounds so if anyone sees them around, mind bringing them back?

[A brief pause as Gohan looks back at the dinosaurs before looking back at the screen.]

They're supposed to hatch soon so it'd be good if the eggs are returned safely. Thank you.

[And before the feed ends, the one of the left releases a deafening roar.]

These are the companions of the Mother of All Gods, so they're understandably protective of those they consider their children. It's a matter of responsibility, you understand.

[And considering that for Aditi, motherhood doesn't necessarily mean gentle or nice... Well, Gohan's used to tiger moms.]

I'm sure you're up to it though.

[Considering how he's raised and by whom.]

It's alright for me to come to your temple then? [He doesn't want to just enter her temple grounds without permission. the barrier would be nasty to deal with.]

In this instance, yes.

[The barrier won't stop Gohan this time. The rooster- even more protective than usual- may make an attempt though, but he doesn't have enough feathers to fly.]

[saiyanhybrid]

I'll be there shortly.

[And it honestly won't take him too long to get to Sharak's temple. The barrier just dampened his senses a bit until he was able to track her down.]

[bussounoshima]

[She'd be very pleased to hear that. The whole point of the barrier is to inconvenience everyone who isn't Sharak.

A little past halfway down the hill, there's a large chicken coop, home to Aditi's feathered companions. Sharak's there too, watching over the situation and the giant egg awkwardly placed in the center of the coop. Normally the chickens wander where they like, but today it seems they're all more curious about the new addition. When Gohan gets close, the rooster- who looks both like someone left him spinning around in a dryer for several hours and as if he just returned from a bloody and violent battle with a tiger once upon a time- runs up to him madly and starts trying to bite and scratch at Gohan's legs.

Sharak does nothing to stop this.]

[By the time he makes it over to the coop, he blinks in surprise when the rooster begins to bite and scratch at his legs. He peers down at it curiously, feeling his own god power working to see if it would immediately form some sort of bond with the rooster.

But he does look at Sharak.]

Does he always do this?

[What a rude rooster.]

He never bothers me.

[Fundamentally untrue. The rooster leaps and scratches at Gohan again before backing off a little and pecking ferociously at the ground. Maybe that's the power working. Maybe it's just his way.]

But he is rather protective.

[saiyanhybrid]

He seems like all he wants to do is go off into battle.

[Which...probably isn't untrue, anyway.

Gohan gives it another look before he looks at the giant egg and the hen on top of it.]

I imagine I'd have a flock of angry chickens coming at me if I dare to take the egg away.

[bussounoshima]

Is that unusual for a chicken?

[How serious she is isn't quite clear. The rooster darts forward again to nip at Gohan's heel before backing off to cluck threateningly. You'd think a saiyan would be used to this kind of friendly social interaction.]

Probably, yes. But if it helps, I've never seen any of them stray too far from this hill.

[It doesn't look like she's going to help out though.]

[saiyanhybrid]

[Used to it enough where he doesn't seem bothered by it at all.

Gohan rubs the back of his neck, staring at the hen who stares down at him. A lengthy silence ensues before he looks over at Sharak.]

Well, guess I'll give it a shot.

[Or he can take the hen with him and the hen and dino mama can have a joint custody.]

[bussounoshima]

Go ahead.

[The hen ruffles her feathers and clucks proudly from her perch. Look at how well she's doing, keeping this big egg warm. She's a good mama.]

... Just push in and pick it up. I'll calm them down once you're gone.

[There, helping.]

[saiyanhybrid]

[Such wonderful help.]

I might end up taking the hen on top if she won't go down though.

[Just a fair warning. But he'll go over soon to pick up the egg.]

[bussounoshima]

She might enjoy traveling.

[... To a temple full of dinosaurs. When Gohan goes to pick up the egg, the rooster leaps forward at light speed to peck out his eyeballs- but Sharak neatly grabs him out of midair to stop him. The hen keeps clucking, apparently oblivious to everything.]

I think she likes you.

[saiyanhybrid]

It'll be fine.

[The dinosaurs won't touch the hen, he hopes. They never really come close to the temple itself.

He laughs.]

Well, I hope so. Thanks, Sharak. [He's going to fly the egg and the hen away and back to his temple now.]
