[Hello, Far Shore.

What greets you today are the wonderful faces of these dinosaurs. They both look livid.]

Hey! Don't scare people off if you want answers!

[The dinosaurs seem to huff but back off as Gohan appears on the screen.

The god rubs the back of his head, looking sheepish.]

Uh, sorry about that, but I was wondering if anyone's seen a couple of eggs. They look like this. [He directs the screen to the nest of eggs.] It's not anywhere around my temple grounds so if anyone sees them around, mind bringing them back?

[A brief pause as Gohan looks back at the dinosaurs before looking back at the screen.]

They're supposed to hatch soon so it'd be good if the eggs are returned safely. Thank you.

[And before the feed ends, the one of the left releases a deafening roar.]

He sighs.]

That's a relief. I'll come by and pick it up soon if you don't mind?

Of course. I do not have the strength to carry it nor I do not feel appropriate to try and take it back on my own considering who else accompanied you.

[He knows pissed off lizards when he sees them.]

[A sheepish laugh.]

I'll be over shortly.

[Good thing he quickly became familiar with Aymeric's energy to track him down...]

My gate is open so you will be able to enter without incident.

[But even so, Gohan will be meeting the white fluff terror at the entrance who first bends his ears back but pulls them back up because is that an older Goten? Mandragora scampers off but if the teen would follow the feline, he'll see Aymeric where the egg is because that sucker is huge.]

[Sorry, Mandragora.

Gohan does land at the entrance, giving the cat a curious look before he decides to follow it. While it's faint, he can still sense lifeform in that egg, so he doesn't waste any time. He slows down when he notices the egg and Aymeric.]

[Okay; so the important thing is not the dinos. Not really--it's the missing eggs. But Trunks can't help but stare at the dinos. Blinking in confusion, before remembering that oh-yeah, the videos on.]

Why do you have dinos, Gohan? Also how did anyone STEAL those eggs in the first place?

[Because those are some big big eggs.]

I think there's one here, but...

[The sound of chickens clucking is common background noise at the Temple of Aditi. Even from inside, they're fairly audible. Right now they're pretty loud though, Sharak must be near the coop.]

You may have some competition if you want it back.

[Aditi is the goddess of motherhood and apparently her chickens are eager to adopt all lost children/eggs they find.]

[Are those chickens that he hears?]

Did the chickens adopt the egg? [He sounds a little unsure about that, but then again, it's still an egg. It makes some sense.]

[And they're all dinosaurs he's seen, too, so he's not bothered.]

You haven't seen any of the eggs, have you?

It came with my temple, but it's not....impossible for someone to steal the eggs.

[Unless someone is a half-saiyan, tiny, and managed to recruit some poor soul for help. But there's no way, right? Right?]

I'd be more concerned as to how they managed that in the first place honestly.

[Those are some huge eggs. It'll take some good amount of strength to crack them open.]

[Sharak sends Gohan a photograph of a large egg, shoved into a wire chicken coop. A hen is nesting above it, happily clucking away. The egg is surrounded by other chickens, sitting on their own nests or going about their business.]

We can call it that. She was having trouble laying, I know, but I don't think this is the result of some extra effort on her part.

[He stares at the photograph, bemused. The hen is--wow.]

Definitely not. It looks like one of my dinosaur's eggs, for sure.

[Sharak can hear a low grumbling of agreement in the background.]

[Mai still remembered a time when dinosaurs roamed the world she used to live in, so when Gohan offered his explanation, she immediately wondered if these were creatures from his timeline. It...would have been a stretch to say she relaxed at the thought, but at least things were starting to make a little more sense to her.]

No, I'm afraid I haven't seen any eggs since our last adventure together.

But if they're dinosaur eggs, they must be quite large. I'm sure they can't have gotten very far on their own.

[The hen is very proud of herself. Look at her beautiful egg. Her chick is going to be the biggest and strongest chick in the temple. Finally Aditi will have a steed to ride into battle once again.]

If you can get it out without hurting any of my chickens, you can have it back.

[That may be harder than it sounds.]

Easier said than done, Sharak.

[Even he is aware of that much.

The hen looks like it'd be ready to peck his eyes out if he so much as gets close to the egg.]

[Gohan looks just a bit resigned.]

No, definitely not on their own.

[His tone suggests that he does know who might have taken them. Honestly, he's not sure if Archer has the strength to carry an egg - two, no less - but there is another person he knows who is aware of the dinosaurs being on the Far Shore.]

These are the companions of the Mother of All Gods, so they're understandably protective of those they consider their children. It's a matter of responsibility, you understand.

[And considering that for Aditi, motherhood doesn't necessarily mean gentle or nice... Well, Gohan's used to tiger moms.]

I'm sure you're up to it though.

[Poor Gohan.]

Not on their own. [She echoed. That left only one possible scenario.] Who else knew about them? That might narrow things down a bit.

[Considering how he's raised and by whom.]

It's alright for me to come to your temple then? [He doesn't want to just enter her temple grounds without permission. the barrier would be nasty to deal with.]

Goten and another guy who decided to hang out on the mountains.

[Hmm...her first instinct, of course, was to question more about this other guy. If only because she had met Goten and he didn't immediately strike her as an egg thief. However, she also knew from experience that things were not always what they seemed, and to never rule out the possibility of anything.]

Oh. So you have met Goten. [Coincidentally enough, she'd been meaning to ask about him for some time now, although this...was probably not the best place to do it. Too public.] He's a good kid. Reminds me a little bit of you, actually.

[That should be a safe enough hint.]
