I'd like to take this time to invite any interested parties to my Temple in two day's time for a group training session.  Our primary objectives will be to work on stealth, speed, and camouflage, along with surveying one's surroundings in potentially high-tension situations.

The session is open to all shinki and gods, regardless of age or experience.  I'll do my best to provide some refreshments on the side.  If you have any further questions, you're welcome to get in touch with either myself or my shinki, Trunks--really, it was more his idea than mine.

You definitely won't know until you try.

But, really, that's the whole point of training. If you know where you need to practice and overcome, better to do it in a controlled setting where it's relatively safe. You might surprise yourself with how much you end up doing.

I guess so. I think fighting might do better for me there than stealth and stuff. I like to think I'm pretty sneaky.

We have plenty of that, I can assure you already.

My shinki, Trunks, is an excellent fighter. I don't know how your strength levels would match up, but I've also learned never to assume without seeing first-hand.

Well, he's a little taller than me... [And she was about 5'8". So that depended upon one's definition of tall.] ...but I'm not sure I understand what height has to do with anything here?

Well, if he's taller than me, then that makes it easier to punch- you know.

Exactly. He’s a sparring partner, not a mortal enemy.

If you’re up against someone dangerous who’s genuinely trying to hurt you, then that’s one thing, but if you don’t fight fairly then I doubt many people are going to want to spar with you for long.

I guess... But if it comes to a sparring sort of thing, I'm not sure I'd win.

You don't have to win a sparring session every single time. It's about learning and improving and overcoming mistakes you might make in a controlled setting. So you know not to make the same mistakes when it really matters.

I guess. Still, it sort of sucks to lose even when it's only practice.
