whoa!! you guys!
remember that shopping center heaven had us investigate last week? it CAUGHT FIRE three days after we checked it out!!! ━(◯Δ◯∥)━ン
and the papers say it could've been arson??
does anyone have any idea what could've happened there? did we miss something???
i only found a good luck charm taped inside one of the air ducts.....



oh and also hi to everyone i haven't met yet! my name's prompto. i've only been here a little while AS FAR AS I CAN REMEMBER so if you know me and i don't know you i'm really sorry if things seem weird and awkward

i heard these things happen sometimes?

Bad wiring to go along with the other construction problems?

Whoever wanted to sabotage the opening returning to finish the job?

Or possibly the owners were hoping to get rid of a failed project instead of sinking repair funds into it.

well whichever of those it is, there's definitely no way it's a coincidence, right?
especially since things were bad enough we all got called in to look at it
nobody saw any ayakashi or anything?

I would have trouble believing in coincidence. The store obviously had enemies.

I didn't see any ayakashi myself, though, so there can't have been any very large ones around.

Not everything bad is caused by ayakashi, after all. Humans can do plenty on their own.

Yes, humans can do magic. I don't think ayakashi make charms, in any case; they're not intelligent enough.

If it's not a human making charms, it might be a god, or their shinki.

I'd certainly prefer to hear it was just some corporate warfare involving magic than to hear it was the work of a god.

But we don't, indeed. I suppose we could look up the corporation that owns -- or owned -- the place, and search for enemies.

it was called the yamada department store
so i guess the yamadas owned it?
unless that was the name of the neighborhood, i don't know ┐(‘～`；)┌

I would guess that it was the Yamada family, or Yamada business, yes.

I don't think it was the neighborhood name, but I suppose it could have been. That might be in the article.
