It was unexpected. So I'd say a mix of surprise and disbelief but not at unpleasant.

I suppose you could say we were. He was one of the first friends I ever made here. Though I'd lost a few gods, he always opened wherever he called home to me.

Do you recall Tanabata? It was on that bridge. I don't think either of us saw it coming.

That bridge did give me a funny feeling when I stood on it.

It could have been. But then again, that bridge could have just amplified whatever feelings were already there to begin with. We were never that good at acknowledging this sort of emotion, I think.

But why this sudden interest in first kisses?

It was an accident. We didn't plan on it or anything like that. It just sort of happened.

And afterwards we got into a big fight over it.

I can only imagine they were just as surprised as you were if it led to a fight. Have you spoken to them at all after the incident?

We've... talked. But not about this.

We're pretending as if it never happened.

It's normal for someone of your age to not know what you're doing, especially when it comes to matters like this.

Perhaps you're being a bit too hard on yourself.

I'm only working on an educated guess. Your inexperience with kissing and how to react afterward is enough to tell me you can't be that old.

I'd say around highschool. It's normal for anyone around that age to worry about their first kiss.

There's no need to be so defensive. I'm sure there's a reason you decided to keep your identity a secret, especially with the fact the two of you haven't talked since the incident.
