If you're a shinki, how do you know if you knew how to do something before you died? We all have skills and talents, I mean, mostly. I haven't found a whole lot of mine so far.
I feel like there's got to be something, though! So.
How did you remember?
Do I just have to try doing everything once?

Oh yeah also if anybody knows anything about onmyojitsu, text me? Thanks!
[He's appended his phone number.]

[Trial and error is basically what he's been planning on, but... it sounds like this person's talking about something just a little different.]
( text )
[All explained in the best way she can. Even she was having a difficult time explaining the voices and tugs she's been feeling. It was odd that she could sometimes guess the feelings of her surroundings by the weather.]
You haven't noticed it?
( text )
Or... well, any hints at all. I can tell when ayakashi are around by the feel sometimes, but that's about it.
( text )
[But the thought that he can't hear the tune or hints will leave her slightly worried. Wasn't it normal to?]
Is that all you can feel? The ayakashi's presence? What does it feel like for you?
( text )
That's what ayakashi feel like. Like needing a bath. You really hear it as a song?
( text )
[Really interesting! She never would've guessed they would feel...itchy and gross.]
When they're in small groups, yes. They sound very loud and obnoxious to me. It's uncomfortable to hear and feel them. Interrupting the lovely tune the living are creating with their environment.
( text )
That's interesting.
( text )
Since it all feels so natural. The way it feels and sounds like. The ayakashi are our enemies and danger to everyone, so of course they'd sound loud and obnoxious. But I like the way you describe them as too. Since it's how I feel most of the time after battling them a bit.
( text )
That must just be how you perceive things.
( text )
I wouldn't be surprise. Ever since I arrived to this world, I've always been able to hear and feel all kinds of different sensations. The more I remain in this realm and the Near Shore, the more I'm able to hear and feel those sensations more strongly. I have no other way of explaining it other than being my instincts at work, maybe?

It's good to know it wasn't a weird response, then. I was a little worried when you mention not being able to notice those hints. I really thought it was a normal thing.
( text )
( text )
But, fortunately, they aren't too difficult to spot.
( text )
The little ones, anyway. The big ones are really easy to see.
( text )
[Instead of wanting to literally eat them whole.]
They are! It's a good thing they aren't really all that smart. They're just really big. I think they rely more on their instincts than logic, right?
( text )
I don't know if they really have logic at all. They can talk, but it seems kind of like an instinct too. They usually don't talk to you.
( text )
[She has noticed the ayakashi can speak. Sometimes it feels like they're trying to spook while other times their words do not make much sense. Nike can't help wonder about that now that he mentions it.]
