Hello, everyone. It's been a while since I've made an announcement like this, but I'm afraid I've been a little busy lately. I hadn't intended to stop taking clothing commissions, but I've been training with Lady Orihime over the past few weeks to learn more about creating divine raiments and it's been taking up most of my free time. I've finished my first major project, though, so I've got a little more flexibility lately.

I still won't be taking commission work until I've finished my training, but I do have enough time to open the temple up for beauty treatments. The pools in the garden behind the temple have healing properties and help keep skin soft, and I can also do hair and nail work for anyone who's interested. In addition, I'll be teaching a sewing class once a week at Hakkai's school. And once Lady Orihime is satisfied with my progress, I'll be able to start making clothing again too. So if anyone is interested in any of that, feel free to let me know and we can either set up an appointment at Lakshmi's temple or get you enrolled at the school.

[Forrest smiles, nodding at the feed.]

[And, with that, the network conversation is over. True to her word, though, Soleil does indeed make her way over toward Lakshmi's temple later in the evening, a bag filled with the proper necessities for a sleepover in hand.]

[Forrest is already all set for the evening, wearing a nightgown and comfortable slippers. He's got his hair down for a change too, since they'll just be sleeping at the end of the night.]

Soleil! Welcome. It's your first time here, isn't it?

[He'll help her out with carrying things, leading her back to the inner chamber, which is still mostly full of pillows from his last big sleepover party. There's also a few chairs and a table with his makeup supplies.]

[Hey, look at that! Forrest with his hair down isn't a sight you see everyday, right? Think about all the work that must go into keeping it up normally, gosh!]

Can't think of a better reason to have a first visit, you know? [Hehe~] Ahh, it's so cozy looking in here, though! I bet you could get used to a set-up like this really quick, huh?

[And it's just as luxurious looking as always. Normally he takes it out before bed, but that's a whole process, so he figured it would be easiest to just do it ahead of time.]

It didn't always look like this. I moved most of the pillows in here for the sleepover, and just never took them out. It's just too comfortable.

[Smiling, he playfully flops backward into a pile of pillows as if to demonstrate.]

Well, they really make the place feel super welcoming. I can't blame you for keeping 'em out like this.

[And, of course, she can't help but follow Forrest's lead and give that pillow pile a shot as well, falling into them face-first and landing with a soft 'paf!']

Ahh, too comfortable for sure!

Mmhmm!

[Forrest nods with a little giggle as he sits up to look at Soleil, crossing his legs with his hands resting on his knees.]

So, what would you like to do first? Should I paint your nails?

Yeah! Work your magic, and maybe we can catch up a little while you do that.

[Easier than trying to have a conversation while, say, snacking, or something like that.]

All right! I'll get my supplies, so go ahead and get your slippers off and make yourself comfortable.

[Forrest smiles, heading over to the little table with his nail polish, coming back with a bottle of it and sitting down across from her again.]

[The pillow pile is plenty comfortable enough for now, really, so all that's called for now is to free up her feet, stretch, and admire the interior of the temple a little more thoroughly while Forrest fetches the essentials.]

Hmm, so! Have you been busy with the manicure business? I bet a ton of people would be after you for something like this, you know?

Yes, today was especially busy. A little more than I expected, but that's all right. I do enjoy it, after all.

[Forrest smiles as he comes back with his supplies, setting them to the side in a small non pillow covered area before sitting across from Soleil.]

Well then, let's get started!

[And not started on a pedicure, but rather tickling Soleil's feet. It's been a while since they've gotten to hang out in a casual setting, and Forrest is feeling playful.]

Whoa-!!

[Clearly, this was wholly unexpected, and Forrest's attack plan catches her completely off guard.]

Hahaha, h-hey, what's the big idea, making such a bold move like that?

[Though she quickly makes a move to squirm out of the way, her laughter betrays just how much she's taking this in stride. It's all in good fun, after all!]

I was just thinking it's been a long time since we were able to relax together like this.

[What with the war and all. Forrest laughs too, crawling after her and poking at her toes.]

So why not enjoy a little laughter together too, right?

[He figures it's a sentiment Soleil would definitely appreciate.]

[Clearly, peaceful moments like this were always worth taking full advantage of back home, and while the atmosphere of the heavens isn't exactly the same, it's hard to let the opportunity to let loose slip past.]

Haha, well, of course! [But don't expect her to take this without some kind of reaction. Her smile turning into something a little more mischievous before she springs forward, aiming to tickle at his sides.] Just as long as I can make you laugh right back...!

Ah! Oh no! N-not there!

[Forrest immediately collapses into a fit of giggles, though he's still trying to reach out to keep tickling at her feet. If he can't reach, though, he'll go for her sides too.]

[Her sides, likely, aren't quite as sensitive of a spot to go for, but that doesn't mean she's gonna take it so easily.]

Ah-! [It's almost enough to make her stop. Almost.] N-no way, haha, not when you're making such a cute face!

[Well, maybe he can get away with wiggling his toes against hers, then!

Amid the laughter and writhing about, of course.]

Hehe, that was smooth. [Ah, but, you know, they can't really catch up like this, can they?] Hey, truce? Even just for now, we can settle this later if you're still up for it!

Ahaha... yes, I think that's for the best.

[Forrest sits up, smiling as he catches his breath.]

I promise I'll do it properly this time.

[He sits across from her again, patting his knee for her foot and reaching for the polish.]

So, have you been settling in all right?

[She gives him a short, ~suspicious~ sort of look, though the smirk on her face is more than enough of an indication that she's only joking in her apparent skepticism, before shifting to a comfortable position in order for him to get to work on her toes.]

Hmm, well enough, I'd say! [There was that tiny blip of time with her dad showing up! Which was super weird! But bringing it up... doesn't feel like the right thing to do in this lighthearted atmosphere. Not right now.] It's a lot to get used to, you know? But at the same time, it's all really interesting.

[Forrest smiles right back, but he's a man of his word, and gets right down to work. He's chosen a pearlescent shade of light pink that should match nicely with the color of her hair.]

Yes, I felt the same way, but fortunately I met a lot of nice people early on. It helped a lot with adjusting to the new surroundings. Everything is so different here.

[An impeccable eye for color and coordination, no less would ever be expected from Forrest.]

Well, there sure do seem to be plenty of nice people around. [Because, yeah, this whole place is really different form anything she's ever encountered for certain, and an awful lot of adjustment is needed.] They really know how to pick good people here, huh?
