Good morning everyone. I just had a small question.
I'm finding myself with some free time and I was wondering if it's common for us to pick up a job? I realize in spite of our status, some things still require money, they same as they would for the living.
If you have a job and wouldn't mind sharing, I'd like to hear about what you do and how you feel about it. How did you find it? Or perhaps you were thinking about doing the same and just hadn't decided yet.
It's also not a problem is it? If a shinki something like that? So long as it doesn't interfere with their duties to their master. I certainly have no intention of inconveniencing them in any way.

The worlds I first knew had monsters born of darkness too. And likewise, they could only truly be stopped with the right weapons.

And I remember records of an automated defense system that could respond to attacks from such creatures and block them from civilians.
Whether that's possible in this world, I'm unsure. Someone would need the skill and means to devise those methods.
[Other worlds are certainly not news to him, though he doesn't know how much is comparable]

[Given what he is, all of this is a rather novel concept to Horikawa. Sure there were some parallels to the life he had known and subsequently forgotten. But to him an enemy was something to be defeated and nothing more. But without an end in sight... likely no chance of one either? It's not that he would ever stop fighting, that isn't their way but give him cause to stop and think.]
If it's a matter of maintaining balance then our presence here is a bit unfair when you think about it. Unless something has happened to give the other side an advantage as well.

[There were incredibly few exceptions to the general rule that all hearts contain some amount of darkness. Seven, in point of fact.
Perhaps in more worlds, there were more, but surely not by many]
The sheer numbers would be their advantage.
