Good afternoon, everyone. Please excuse my change of name: this is Cho Hakkai.

I appear to have reappeared. Although I don't want to give undue hope to anyone who's recently lost a god or shinki, I'd like to announce that my classes will be continuing as usual.

To those who were living upstairs at the school the past few days, I expect you to help me clean up the mess. You know who you are.

[There are animal cracker crumbs everywhere.

And apart from that he's just not going to mention the events of last few days. At least he wasn't an actual child, but....]

Does anyone have an idea what might have caused it? I'm certain I felt something in the air for a few hours before it happened.

Are you going to learn at the school too, Sharak?

[He's curious about that but that second part does make him perk up a little bit]

You'll read to me and I can read to you, you mean?

[He perfers her doing the reading because surely Sharak is one of the best people to read stories but she probably has a lot of cool stories of her own]

If you'll read to me there, I'll go to the school. Maybe you can find something to teach me.

Even if you're the only one fighting, being able to make plans can help you to win a battle that you couldn't win if you ran in head-on.

[He's a little sorry. Of course, it's not as if he ordered Hibari to cause mayhem in his absence, so he's not very concerned: Izumo's alive, he'll be fine.]

At least the latest issue seems to have been resolved without casualties! Except for the library goblins.

[Goten goes quiet for a moment, thinking]

....How would you get around someone that can make it so you can't move?

Yeah, seems they're more sensitive to that kind of thing than we are. I wonder why that is? Maybe there's a book on it somewhere.

[Please, please, please. Let him just think Sharak is so much cooler then she already is.]

Not everything, just most things. Maybe you can find something I don't know in a book with Hakkai.

[He's pathetically grateful that Gojyo isn't pushing it. There are so many questions he could ask, questions he doesn't know the answer to anymore and that Hakkai flinches from answering.

He doesn't know how well Gojyo would respond to some of those answers anymore. Although if he ever really needs to keep Gojyo away for his own sake...]

You weren't that bad as a child. You didn't throw any rocks at me, unlike some.

Perhaps reading to him is the key to making friends with Onidori.

[The other chickens will probably appreciate it more than being chased around the hill.]

Why don't we research that together?

[And not air any possible strategies out loud on the network. There are multiple answers for this.]

Perhaps they have naturally short lives?

It could be worth asking a survivor if you're curious.

Make sure not to skip any of Hakkai's classes, okay, Goten?

Not at you, no.

[ It's really hard, he's discovering, to stay mad at a guy so obviously messed up as Hakkai. It can't have been ten years ago (and probably fewer) that he was that young teacher with a new wife (and no limiters -- that's going to bother him for awhile, isn't it?) just starting out in the world... and now he's here, a violent self-destructive asshole. He's pathetic, and it's just not right to hate pathetic people. ]

Does anyone have any theories about what happened?

This isn't fair at all and you know it. What's the big idea?

[He still isn't sure about this but between Hakkai, Sharak and Izumo...maybe he could give it a try. If Hakkai can help him beat Loki and he can teach Sharak something, then it won't be so bad.]

It's fair. Ah, but if you do end up skipping, try hard to make sure he doesn't catch you.

[That's his only tip. Of course, Hakkai's also free to use any method he can to catch Goten.]
