Here’s a question for you all: what do you think about death?
Considering the recent murders, I’d say it’s something to think about, isn’t it?
It truly brings in the question of whether or not death plays a relevant role here. People seem to be able to come back to life, but seems to go from god to shinki or even shinki to god. Regardless of the reason for the change in reversal, it seems that one element in particular remains missing: memories.
I’m curious as to why memories seem to be the important element in deciding between a god and a shinki aside from the obvious.
So, here’s another question: how many of you were previously shinki who became a god? If you don’t remember your time as a shinki, would you want those memories back?

Perhaps it's true.

The fact that there hasn't been anything official on the murders either still leave much to be desired.

shouldn't remember their own lives makes me think it's something about what we are that causes us to forget.
We are dead. And if those who are killed here suffer a further loss of memory, death and forgetfulness may be linked after all. I'd like to make analogies to brain injury, or traumatic amnesia, but considering that we don't have heartbeats it's probably fanciful to imagine that our brains function like the brains of the living.
The murders are a separate issue.

Then again, I might be a bit touchy on any news related to memories in general.
Running off a tangent here from what I've said, but have you heard any news at all about the murders?
no subject
I haven't heard anything useful about the murders. I'm going to see if I can find any of the shinki who were examining the bodies and ask them for an update.
[They'd looked like Amaterasu's shinki, from their outfits. That could be a good place to start.]

I'm aware of the two victims from Tanabata. However, Hebe also mentioned not too long ago that he's been called out, perhaps presumably by the same person who might be trying to out him for whatever reason. Might be worth trying to talk to him, too.

I did see that. If it's linked to the BBS, it's possible that the other victims could have interacted with their killer here, too.
I know one of the Tanabata victims was Jennifer. Do you know the identity of the other?
no subject
And since it's linked, the killer might be tracking this now, too.
I don't. I've never run into the other one before, but at least there's identity for one of the victims.

[Probably his actions; violent criminals in general and knife murderers specifically skew male, but without evidence Scully doesn't like to predispose herself to a solution.]
Luckily, you're anonymous. I'll be careful.

Partially why I chose to be anonymous.

For my own protection, I'll avoid agreeing to meet you in a dark forest.

In any case, if you find anything interesting, you know who I am. Let me know.

Will do. Be safe.

Same to you.
