I know that adjusting to a new name is a serious undertaking for most people, but the common use of an individual's god name does not seem to be wide spread. Admittedly, my sample size is still relatively small, but most of the other gods I have met thus far have introduced themselves with their mortal names first, and then given their god name second. Is this because many have not yet adjusted to the new name, or are we not supposed to use our god names?
I'm making the adjustment myself, and I think it would be easier if I was a little more informed about what my relationship with my god name is meant to be. I, personally, am perfectly comfortable with dropping my old title in favor of Hermes, but if it's something meant for followers only, I can adjust my expectations accordingly.

And the S Class heroes are a group of egotistical assholes who wouldn't know how to work together if the world depended on it.
But perhaps your heroes are better trained and utilized more effectively. I'd be surprised, but I'm willing to consider the possibility.

They just have numbers.
1. All Might (Deku's personal hero)
2. Endeavor (Todoroki's father. Terrifying to be next to. Very imposing.)
And so on and so forth. Monsters have only recently become a problem, and even then, they're artificial humans, and not exactly monsters. There are villains running about, but they tend to just be other humans with destructive quirks.]
That's an interesting system. It doesn't seem very effective.
Where I'm from heroes have quirks that enable them to be more effective in certain situations, and they're called on for during those. There are heroes for rescue situations, and heroes that specialize into specific kinds of rescue situations. They all train for the basics, rescue missions, fighting, dealing with diverse environments and working with other heroes. Even people they might not get along with, they have to at least be able to work with professionally. Civilian's safety is more important than a feud between heroes.
No. 13, the Space Hero, has the quirk Black Hole, which allows him to create a black hole from his fingers and uses it to clear away debris during disasters. Of course, he had to go to hero school to learn how to use it because black holes are highly volatile and has the capacity to kill people if not carefully used. He knows how to work with his quirk effectively with several other heroes, if they're in that kind of situation as well.

Quirks are... I'm not sure if we have something analogous? There are humans with extraordinary abilities, like myself, but they are largely physical abilities, or mechanical enhancements. And a few espers. Admittedly, my knowledge is limited and I try to avoid contact with heroes whenever possible. They make my jobs unnecessarily complicated.
I can tell you that our Black Hole Hero is simply a jumped up asshole in a black tank top who claims to be able crush things with the force of a black hole. From what I've seen of him, however, he mostly runs around stroking his own ego and picking on those he perceives as weaker than himself.
I might be able to admire your heroes, but the majority of mine are simply trash.
