I haven't been here long but my god vanished before I ever got to meet him which makes me wonder: what the hell is a shinki good for? What are we supposed to do? Is there any point in serving a god if they can just vanish?

Or at least one who'll offer minimum wage.

Even the jerk gods that don't pay at least have to offer room and board.
Otherwise what's the point of these huge temples we get?

You should aim higher than that!
I know there are decent gods out there.
And I bet you have a ton of skills that would look great on a resume.
The important thing is to approach the world with confidence!

Don't be so down on yourself.
God or shinki the only person who can improve your situation is you.
And I think you'll be fine.
