[The video clicks on to show Izumo, who looks as if he’s just finished running a marathon. Behind him, it’s obvious he’s standing what appears to be an abandoned temple before the video moves to the side, showing Goten.]

Here, Goten.

Are you sure it’s on? [Goten peeks into view, looking at the screen with wide eyes. His hair is messier than usual, sweat beading under his bangs. But his smile is big as ever.]

Hey everyone! Izumo and me did some training together. It’s a lot of fun so you should try it to. Izumo is one of the strongest people ever and he can get you stronger too! Right, Izumo? C’mon you gotta tell them or no one is gonna want to come!

[Izumo adopts an expression of feigned exasperation, though anyone could see the fondness in his eyes as he ruffles Goten’s hair.]

You might be exaggerating there, Goten. [But he does look at the video, a smile on his face.] But anyone’s welcomed to come and train with us if you’d like. The more, the merrier.

Yeah! But you should train with us! Sparring, shinki stuff, any of that stuff is good! It doesn’t matter how good you are at it either cause we wanna get stronger too and the only way to do that is to keep training!

[Goten’s fist shoots into the air as he gives a quick nod.] But you gotta be nice cause Izumo sorta shy about his powers.

[He tilts his head back to flash a playful grin up to the older shinki before looking back to the video, waving.]

[He feigns some hurt, but it's obvious by the smirk on his face that he's not bothered by it at all.]

[ While Shouto's not necessarily the most social person in the world - in this life or his previous one - his interest is caught by the post. After talking to Kairi back in Greece, he did sort of realize that he was lacking on actual shinki training. ]

We're currently at one of the abandoned temples.

I have been looking for strong allies to train against! If either of you has skills with a sword, I would like to see the full extent of my abilities. I know not how dangerous they are, so I will restrain them until I am sure they will not bring destruction to the heavens.

Sorry, neither of us are skilled with a sword. We're more hand-to-hand combat really.

[He won't respond again in voice, but it's enough to get their attention.]

[It takes half a second for Goten to pick up on who that voice belongs to. It's one voice he's heard in person and in his own mind. He knows that voice without needing a name or face.

Goten visibly tenses up, eyes going wide as his smile instantly drops. A second later he's ducking out of sight shaking his head. NOPE NOPE NOPE Anyone but him]

[The voice is quick to register, causing Izumo's eyes to narrow.

He's heard enough of that voice for him to recognize, and seeing Goten's own reaction is enough of an incentive for Izumo to immediately switch from video to text.]

As long as the offer is available, yes.

[At least with text, it'll be easier to hide Goten.]

[ This came up pretty soon after their attempt at teaching and develop Shizuo's borderline abilities. He was still a little apprehensive, but that was because it sounded like it was him set up with people that seemed way more experienced. ]

[ Guess what catches Yata's attention immediately. Perking up, he opens a video feed to reply, grinning at them. ]

I didn't know you were shy, Izumo. What are you sparring with? I still haven't figured out borderlines yet, but if the offer's still open, I'll come spar.
