If you say "oh my god" as a shinki, are you referring to your own god? Do they feel it every time you say that?

If you say it as a god, who are you referring to? Are you talking about a god you really like?

Also, is it normal for shinki to refer to their god by their god name or their whatever name?

What if your shinki form was a toilet or a trash receptacle? What would you do then?

If a god were to pray, who would it be to? Would it be like someone who idolizes a J-Pop star?

These are the important questions.

I don't know. I've never been a god because I'm a shinki. My god doesn't say much, so I don't know if he would answer these questions.

So you're a new god? Hmm...so that means you can figure out how you want to work.

[She tilts her helmeted head at that.]

[She shakes her head, though, trying to clear it of the rabbit trail it will inevitably go down if she doesn't change subjects.]

Be a god in your own way. However you want to do it. If you want to be a super scary god that collects cursed objects, you can. If you want to be a god that eats doughnuts at least once every day, you could. That kind of thing.

...Ah reckon a god o'hospitality, fertility, crops, war, an' sun wouldn't be that good at collectin' that sort o'thing. An', Ah mean, Ah don't really wanna handle cursed stuff. Seems a bad idea.

..What's a donut?

[Takuma lets out a dramatic gasp. Forget everything else.]

You don't know what a doughnut is?! You must be a god of sadness because they are delicious! You must have one right away!

Ah..don't think we have them in Tellius. Where do ya even get one?

You can get them at a doughnut shop. They are all over the place. Of course they are best when they are fresh, which means going early in the morning. My god and I had them when we travelled to America. I'm sure we can find a good shop here in Japan.

Well, Ah'm a mornin' person, so that ain't too hard. Ah do runnin' fore the sun gets up.

[She looks away from the screen, a bit flustered if that pink in her cheeks is any indication.]

Um...would ya...maybe like to meet up with me tomorrow an' we can go find some?

[He smiles brightly at the camera then nods.]

That sounds like it will be a lot of fun! First, however, you need my name. It's Takuma Ichijou.

Next, I need your name.

And lastly, we need to pick a place to meet up.

I can meet you anywhere you would like, if outside of your temple is easiest, I don't mind. I just need to know where it is.

N-naw, ya don't gotta do that! N-Nephenee' jus' fine, Ah'm jus' a country girl. Don't need no fancy stuff.

Uh, lemme scribble ya a map real fast.

[She grabs a piece of paper and does so, holding it up when she's done. It's not bad, though she's no cartographer. Not too far away, and on the edge of a forest on one side and a field on the other.]

[Takuma arrives to the temple at a decent time in the morning. It was a little later than he had hoped, but he hasn't had a lot of time to explore thus far. He has only been a shinki for a week.

He knocks on the door and waits.

He's dressed as if he had thoroughly ravaged a Banana Republic since he found himself very attractive to the "comfortable rich boy" aesthetic. He is well put together and brightly colored.]

[That, and it probably took him a few minute to get to the door. The temple's living area proper was beyond a garden and courtyard. ~~Thankfully for him, her plants weren't hungry.~~

It only took a minute or so, when the door opened, and she beamed at him as she came out. Unlike him, she was in pretty normal casual wear that was more for ease of movement than anything: loose jeans, a fitted blue t-shirt with a sun with glasses on, and a floppy summer hat that helped obscure her face. Nevermind the sun hadn't even risen yet, but gotta have floppy hats. It actually looked nice, if you liked muscley girls-next-door?]

Mornin', Sir Takuma. How are ya?
