It has come to my attention that my shinki Niles may have offended others at the party last night. This is my one and only apology for any mass offense he may have caused or will cause in the future. If it becomes personal, please let me know.

I can't do the impossible. I'm simply apologizing for any offense he may have caused since he won't apologize for it himself.

Ha ha, I'm not asking you to promise you will keep him under control.

I'm just asking if you will try.

It seems you've already met my fellow shinki, and I'm afraid I can't promise I will keep him from attempting violence either.

Oh, I'll try, but I can only promise to keep him from killing people...and possibly corrupting the remarkably young and pure.

The one threatening Niles?

That is, he did not insult your god. He said that if your god was "a suicidal masochistic freak," he did not want to know about it.

In fact I believe you were the only target of his disrespect.

It's still inappropriate to refer to him as such, even under an if. And he should have apologized for even bringing it up. But he chose not to. And now I'll make sure that he knows he should.

As it should be. I'm fine with being the target of any and all disrespect.

As in fact he suggested that you were and your god was not the appropriate target of such disrespect, I'm not sure why there's a problem!

The fact that he even suggested it bothers me more than anything. As if you could meet Leo and determine that he would be anything like me.

Frankly, it's insulting to both of us.

Of course, neither of us has met him, so it's hard to say, isn't it?

I think as long as your friend stays away from ME, Niles won't bother him. He's very protective.

However, I must note that Niles' behavior at the party was not provoked.

It appears likely that he will, in fact, bother my fellow shinki.

Then there is little I can do, it seems. I won't have Niles change who he is, though I will try to keep him from killing your shinki.

Please consider him uninvited at our temple. For his own safety.

And Sanzo, if that's his name, should avoid mine for his. I really don't want to stain a place called "Heaven" with blood unless it's that of monsters.
