Hey! Forrest invited me to a Sleepover tonight and I wanted to invite you too. He's the god presiding over Lakshimi's * temple and he's really nice. There'll be snacks, we can do a bit of makeup work if you want, hair done, or just hang out for awhile! We've all been working so hard, I think it's worth it to have some fun. You don't have to think of me as a friend, then. It's a bunch of us who are teenagers trying to have some fun, that's all. You weren't mean to me when we met and we had a good time, so of course I'm going to consider you a friend.

You're not the first person to tell me that. The good news for me is that if you DO come to the party, then that's more "time" we get to spend together.

And I'd like that! But this way we can spend time together AND with other people too! Maybe you'll find a new friend, you never know.

Somebody else might be though. You could be just the type of person they get along well with.

Is that really what you think or are you just trying to convince me to come?

It's really both of those things. I do want you to come, because I care about you even if you don't see me as a friend, but more than wanting you to come I just know you're not the only one considering coming to the party and unsure if they're going to enjoy it or not. That's why I'm inviting all kinds of people and hoping that the ones struggling to make friends will find one.
