My god Anpao/Riku has disappeared. He seemed like a good kid, I'm going to miss him.

That being said, I need to fins a new god, or at least somewhere to crash while I wait to be assigned one. Would I be able to stay with anyone else for a day or two? Otherwise, is it safe to sleep outside here? Do we actually need to sleep anyway?

Yeah, I heard about that the day I got here.

No, yeah, I haven't either, I like sleeping. But I thought it'd be convenient in case it's not actually necessary.

Even if Zeno wasn't tired, Zeno would want the break, you know? Taking away the need to sleep just sounds mean... what are you gonna do for all that time you're not spending asleep??

Yeah. Even if one doesn't need it, as long as one can one can still sleep. It would be more mean to take away the ability to sleep, I think.

And eating! Zeno can live without massages and gold and all that stuff, but those kinds of things... being a god or a shinki would just be too strange and foreign without it

Definitely. It would be taking away some of life's (and the afterlife's, I guess) joys.

For what it is worth you are welcome to what hospitality Zeno can offer.

Zeno has known of gods who left heaven behind them, but it was by choice and all the other gods were aware of exactly what happened. The gods here are not so fortunate

Yeah it seems like it. But you have? Where? Your own world? Are you a god for real?

Nope! Zeno hears things, sometimes is in the right place at the right time to hear it first hand, but that's all. Stories about the gods and what they did are very important to the people who follow those gods, so that's what Zeno knows.

All religions have stories of their own, I guess it’s some of that you’re talking about?

Exactly! The hard part is knowing if they're really true, since retellings have a way of getting out of hand.
