Hello,

My name is Saix, and I'm looking for a companion to keep me close.

[Attached is a picture of him.]

I like long walks, not just on the beach, but everywhere, so long as you walk beside me. I hope you don't mind the collar, it's a statement for when I go out. Alone or with company.

I also like eating only out of bowls for every meal, but I hate using a spoon, I know that's a little weird, but trust me when I say it makes everything taste better.

I also really enjoy the game of catch, so if you'd play that with me, I'd be the happiest man alive.

I know this sounds a little ruff, but I'm really looking forward to going on a date. Just let me know when and where, and I'll meet you there.

Thanks for looking~.

[I have permission from Saix's mun to do this, and she will be tagging things back within a day or two, so expect thread jacking!

edit: Niles's comments will be from the 19th, Saix's will be from the 20th.]

He lied about that too. He said such posts were common.

Understandable. I trust you will deal with him judicially.

I'd take anything Niles has to say with a grain of salt. That's not to say he always lies, but I'd say it's often enough to make him untrustworthy.

Of course.

One lie is enough to dissuade me from trusting him. (Liars are amongst the lowest in her eyes.)
saikusu: (177)

[personal profile] saikusu 2017-03-03 12:22 pm (UTC)(link)
That's a wise choice. [That's something he can agree with. At least as long as you don't count lies by omission.]
stonebird: (❅ it would be life)

[personal profile] stonebird 2017-03-03 12:23 pm (UTC)(link)
(She has omitted things, so yes, that is different.) I am sorry you must deal with the aftermath. I am Dali - otherwise known as Sansa Stark - and if you need a place of refuge, my temple is open to you.
saikusu: (155)

[personal profile] saikusu 2017-03-03 12:31 pm (UTC)(link)
I appreciate the offer. I may take you up on that at some point - as long as you don't intend to make me one of your shinki. I will not betray the god I serve like that.
stonebird: (❅ went wandering down the latitudes)

[personal profile] stonebird 2017-03-03 12:33 pm (UTC)(link)
Absolutely not! God or Shinki - it doesn't matter to me. If you need a safe place to stay, you can have one.
saikusu: (211)

[personal profile] saikusu 2017-03-03 12:41 pm (UTC)(link)
You seem to be a noble person. Thank you. For now, Odin's temple is safe, but Niles will eventually return. How long after that return it remains safe is indeterminable.
stonebird: (❅ some burning noon go dry)

[personal profile] stonebird 2017-03-05 10:37 am (UTC)(link)
I do my best to abide by the example set by my family. (And the Stark name is hard to live up to, but since she is the only Stark in this world, she must try.) My invitation is open. Day or night, rain or shine, you are welcome. Niles, however, is not.

Once again, thank you. To help in identifying him should you run into him, I'm attaching a photograph of him.

[personal profile] stonebird 2017-03-05 11:03 am (UTC)(link)
Thank you, Lord Saix. He will be difficult to miss.
saikusu: (05)

[personal profile] saikusu 2017-03-05 11:14 am (UTC)(link)
I am not sure I deserve such an esteemed title as Lord, but you're welcome all the same.
stonebird: (❅ where you were not)

[personal profile] stonebird 2017-03-05 11:19 am (UTC)(link)
What title do you prefer? Are you a knight, perhaps?
saikusu: (177)

[personal profile] saikusu 2017-03-05 11:24 am (UTC)(link)
I don't know what I was prior to arriving here, however, the god I serve is a prince, so perhaps a knight is fitting for my role.
stonebird: (❅ and hit a world at every plunge)

[personal profile] stonebird 2017-03-05 11:49 am (UTC)(link)
You are indeed a knight, then, ser. Your god must value you highly.
saikusu: (235)

[personal profile] saikusu 2017-03-05 12:05 pm (UTC)(link)
From what I can tell, he does. He has found me to be an invaluable help when answering prayers.
stonebird: (❅ and I dropped down and down)

[personal profile] stonebird 2017-03-05 12:12 pm (UTC)(link)
What is that like? I have not answered any prayers yet.
saikusu: (120)

[personal profile] saikusu 2017-03-05 12:35 pm (UTC)(link)
It depends on the prayer. We have helped someone find a job, returned a lost dog to his home, and have slain an ayakashi. All on different occasions. Depending on your skillss, and those of your shinki's, some prayers are easier to answer than others.
stonebird: (❅ a blue and gold mistake)

[personal profile] stonebird 2017-03-05 01:49 pm (UTC)(link)
All of those seem understandable. Have you heard of any prayers that go against a god's morality?
saikusu: (88)

[personal profile] saikusu 2017-03-05 02:00 pm (UTC)(link)
I have not, however I can't say I've heard much of anything about prayers that I didn't help answer myself.
stonebird: (❅ from the hills)

[personal profile] stonebird 2017-03-05 02:03 pm (UTC)(link)
That is comforting. I suppose a negative answer to a prayer is an answer, though I would rather not give it.
saikusu: (61)

[personal profile] saikusu 2017-03-07 11:55 pm (UTC)(link)
If someone asks for something that goes against your morality, you can always answer it in a way that doesn't go against it, but doesn't completely neglect to acknowledge their request. A positive answer isn't always a nice answer.
stonebird: (❅ and yet your little draught of life)

[personal profile] stonebird 2017-03-25 06:54 am (UTC)(link)
No, I agree. If the positivity isn't genuine, there is no point to it. I would rather be truthful with them even if it hurts them in the moment.
