It has come to my attention that recently there was a very large misunderstanding that resulted in quite a few Near Shore deaths and a number of gods and shinki being attacked by ayakashi. I would like to take this opportunity to apologize on behalf of the entirety of the Heavens for this grave mistake.

Unfortunately, there appears to have been a mix-up while delivering the chocolates and it seems that they became tainted in the process. We are currently uncertain as to whether this was the active working of someone against the Heavens or if it was simply an accident. Either way, a mistake was made and many people paid the consequences for it.

We assure you all that every effort to track down the culprits is being made and all security measures will be increased drastically from here on out to prevent any future incidents like this one.

Please feel free to direct any questions or concerns to this thread and they will be dealt with in a timely manner.

Thank you.

It's not just about the location, it's how the materials are treated. You should guard them more carefully and keep track of them so that you're able to respond quickly if something is out of place. If you're paying so little attention to them that you forget they were even there, that's a potential disaster.

More importantly, I plan to actually make use out of them. If they're only taking up space in your temple, I'll take them off your hands.

i said i don't mind giving some of them to you (¬_¬) just let me know when you want to come get them.

if they're going to cause problems, they're going to do it whether i'm guarding them vigilantly or not, and i really do think that i'd have some warning. besides, how do you know the enchantment won't expire while you're examining them? or maybe even because of examining them. maybe whoever is responsible made it so they'll self-destruct or the enchantment will if anyone tries tampering with them but leaving them alone is fine. or maybe the enchantment was only for that day and they're completely harmless now.

there are a lot of what ifs and i appreciate that you're concerned but i'm really not worried about being able to deal with them if we need to.

Any time is fine, just tell me where your temple is.

It's not about whether something will go wrong or not or what could cause the enchantment to break, it's the difference between ignoring a potential danger without any plans to dispose of it and actively working on it to understand it's capabilities. Even if something goes wrong during an experiment, there's still something valuable to be learned from the results. If something goes wrong and you're not actively keeping tabs on it then you can't make any solid conclusions without knowing the circumstances.

Anyway, none of that really matters. It's obvious to me that you have no interest in performing any proper testing, and that's fine with me. Whatever goes on in your temple is hardly my business. I can handle this task myself.

that true. that kind of thing has never been my strong suit. i always had other people doing that for me.

[And here are the directions to his temple, because he's totally fine with that being the case here too.]
