It has come to my attention that recently there was a very large misunderstanding that resulted in quite a few Near Shore deaths and a number of gods and shinki being attacked by ayakashi. I would like to take this opportunity to apologize on behalf of the entirety of the Heavens for this grave mistake.

Unfortunately, there appears to have been a mix-up while delivering the chocolates and it seems that they became tainted in the process. We are currently uncertain as to whether this was the active working of someone against the Heavens or if it was simply an accident. Either way, a mistake was made and many people paid the consequences for it.

We assure you all that every effort to track down the culprits is being made and all security measures will be increased drastically from here on out to prevent any future incidents like this one.

Please feel free to direct any questions or concerns to this thread and they will be dealt with in a timely manner.

Very well... With all the reincarnations of gods, what becomes to the shinkis attached to them? I have been receiving troubles reaching their old shinkis. My other concern pertains to the nature of the new Gods and shinkis. Why are the new shinkis being selected for the gods, instead of allowing the gods to create shinki themselves?

For the purposes of my answer, I will refer to any god pre-reincarnation as an 'old' god, and any of the gods that have recently reincarnated as a 'new' god.

Any shinki of 'old' gods are being handled in the same way that we have always handled the transfer of shinki after reincarnation - that is to say that they are being properly disposed of to make way for their new master.

Many of the 'new' gods had a guidepost that should have been handed down from their 'old' god, but those shinki appear to have just completely vanished.

Shinki of the 'new' gods are being handled differently and instead transfer to another 'new' god upon the loss of their previous god, since we are uncertain how else to deal with these anomalies.

The 'new' gods are having their shinki selected for them simply because we have decided that it is best to keep like people together. Rather than try to deal with explaining these strange new shinki to 'old' gods, we are keeping them with other newbies.
