It has come to my attention that recently there was a very large misunderstanding that resulted in quite a few Near Shore deaths and a number of gods and shinki being attacked by ayakashi. I would like to take this opportunity to apologize on behalf of the entirety of the Heavens for this grave mistake.

Unfortunately, there appears to have been a mix-up while delivering the chocolates and it seems that they became tainted in the process. We are currently uncertain as to whether this was the active working of someone against the Heavens or if it was simply an accident. Either way, a mistake was made and many people paid the consequences for it.

We assure you all that every effort to track down the culprits is being made and all security measures will be increased drastically from here on out to prevent any future incidents like this one.

Please feel free to direct any questions or concerns to this thread and they will be dealt with in a timely manner.

I appreciate you going out of your way to apologize, Amaterasu- but it honestly still has me a bit worried. Was there really no way of telling that those chocolates had been tainted when handing them over?

I didn't really question it since I'm still learning things myself but I think it would've helped lessen the damage if we ourselves were capable of catching onto it sooner too.

And.. will there be any punishments for the Gods that may or may not have eaten the chocolates? [ you know, before they got their orders (aka like Sorey here) j-just checking! ]

Certainly there would have been a way of telling, if we had thought to look specifically for ayakashi trapped within the chocolates. But as this is something we have never encountered before, it was unlikely to have occurred to anyone to check for something like that. So if you were to check for literally every possible problem in literally every possible thing, you might have been able to stop this situation from arising.

Please do not fret over what you may have done, Apollo. You have already handled whatever punishment might have come your way in the feelings of your own guilt. Try not to worry about it.
