How many of you are capable of spells or skills that can heal others?

Based on recent incidents it seems like a good idea to know this.

For starters, I know healing spells, if they're needed.

Guess it wouldn't matter, but I think a god with that name was associated with healing, or something. At least if there are emergencies there are some of us here. Strange that gods just vanish though, you'd think they'd be more enduring.

Hey, yeah, that could be it! I remember she said something about valkyries, too.

There's something pretty weird going on with the gods lately. I mean, to start out with, we're here... right?

That sounds familiar, at least. The gods of this world are still new to me though. I just know I get mooncakes in the fall.

It does seem like there are some bugs in the system, since it's not operating the way it's supposed to.

So does that make you an alien?

Yeah, I come from a different world.

I'm not familiar with the term "alien" though.

Wait, what? Really? Aliens just means anyone who comes from a different world. Well -- and isn't human. Little green men!

I've never heard of people from other worlds being called aliens.

All worlds are part of a much greater World, anyway. So doesn't that make us the same?

Uh, sure, I guess so. That sounds a little metaphysical. I never got along with philosophy all that well. It's more Hisoka's kind of thing.

But you seem pretty human to me.

I don't think I know any Hisoka.

I'm a data replication of someone who never existed. Does that sound human?

Oh, sorry, Hisoka's my lead shinki.

In other words... are you saying you're a computer program?

Lead shinki? I'm not familiar with that term.

Someone told me "AI" fits my description of what I am, if that means anything to you.

From what Bishamon told me, it's what you call your first shinki, or your only shinki if you just have one. They're supposed to be the ones who guide and advise you the most.

What happens if you start off with two of them?

Then I guess you pick whoever would be better for the job!

Wouldn't that be like picking favorites?

[sweetdeath]

Sort of? I mean, if you've got one shinki who likes getting things organized and one who likes kicking back, it's not playing favorites to give the first guy more responsibility, right? They'd both like it better that way.

I'm the type who likes kicking back, so no offense intended!

I've got one that's more agreeable, and another that isn't but will take offense if I respond to it...

So I get the sense that it'd be taken as picking a favorite, no matter the thoughts behind it. I'm trying to alternate tasks since they don't get along with each other so well.

Well, it's not like you have to pick one, anyway.

I don't think they have any real requirements about how we work with our shinki. It's up to us.

That's good to know. I'd rather not cause more friction between them.

Yeah, we've all got to work together, so you don't want them to get too mad! That'd be a pain.

My shinki get along okay, so I guess I'm lucky.

Since I'm responsible for them, it falls to me to make it work.

Guess it all depends on who they are, even if they don't remember.

[sweetdeath]

...Yeah, just because they don't remember doesn't mean they're not the same person!
