[And unknown information. It certainly doesn't make things suspicious at all.]
It only seems to raise more questions in that case. All I can speculate is that whatever or whoever is doing this seems to be trying to just throw a whole group together to see what'll happen as a result. From what it sounds like, the way you've done it before seemed to have been a safer option by allowing you to simply naming your shinki than having them assigned.

[ Bluh. What even is going on here. Nearly half a year and barely any answers. ]
Of course, our naming our own shinki meant that lesser gods could go without one for an extended period of time. In a way, the system heaven has in place now at least assures a god will always have a shinki... but if I may say, it feels somewhat impersonal.
Tell me. How did you feel toward Thanatos?

I suppose it can make that impression, especially since if you were previously given the choice to willingly name your own shinki without it being assigned to you, it feels as if that choice has been taken away.
[Why did you have to ask that.]
We weren't close, but I did respect him. [They were partners briefly, and Izumo got to get to know him.] Why do you ask?

But I did ask to demonstrate a point. What was lost with these assignments were the bonds that were formed when we named our shinki. Other gods felt more responsibility toward them. I'm sorry if it seemed to be an unnecessary question but I'm glad to hear you came to respect him nontheless.

So do you think these new gods lack the proper ability to bond with their shinki if they were assigned to them?

But yes, it can seem likely. Not all of them, I'm sure but some of them, certainly. I can only hope this doesn't lead to any difficulties down the line that can put all of us in danger.

That being said, I do have another question: how's your bar doing?

It's doing quite well. A bit slow on business, but that's to be expected.

[ Idea though. ]
But there is something I'd like to ask of you, if that's alright.

What is it?

Seeing as you run a bar, I can only imagine you get all sorts of clientele even if business isn't exactly booming.
There's someone I'm looking for. A god, in particular.
I'm sure you saw what happened to a shinki named Sousuke?

Needless to say neither took this lying down.
This has never happened. Naming another god's shinki is taboo. The fact this god, this Loki, has done so without remorse tells me he will do it again given the chance.
For justice's sake, I have to find him. What I ask of you is to be aware of the situation. If you ever see a god with long orange hair and blue eyes, please let me know immediately.

[How the fuck do you do that without permission?
But a god with long orange hair and blue eyes? It certainly rings a bell and Izumo briefly wonders if it's the same person he's met before.]
Will do. If it helps you finding him faster, I'll do what I can to help.
[And if alerting her is the best way, he'll do it.]

[ He's already been described as a runner... and the fact that he's covering up his tracks. It only means she needs more eyes and ears to cover ground she can't. ]
But either way: thank you. I'd appreciate any leads we can get.

Is there anything else I should know about this 'Loki'?

This is also why I've asked for your assistance.
