Are gods expected to work with their pantheons? I don't mind if so, but I haven't the faintest idea whom else might be beholden to the Egyptians.

On that note, if anyone has any great need of the services of one of the many gods of the afterlife that seem to be in the mythology of this world, I'm willing to assist in any way I can. Please feel free to contact me on this odd little device or at my temple.

I agree. Such limitations would in some ways be useful by ways of an innate support system, but being forbidden from interacting with others?

What made you worry that would be a problem? Isn't it best if a god and shinki get along well?

Oh sure! But what about shinki and other gods that they aren't tied to? That was a little iffy in my mind.

Was there a sense that cooperation wasn't encouraged, when you arrived? Things seemed reasonably friendly to me now, but there might be quite a bit of time between you and I in that respect.

I think it was all the talk about... how bad noras are and the idea that we shinki should be loyal to our gods. So if you talk too much to people who aren't your god or your god's other shinki... I dunno, it got me worried.

There's something I can't find anything about, noras. What are they?

I hardly think befriending strangers is being disloyal. Happily it seems others agree, as I'm sure by now you have many friends, shinki and god both.

I thought they told gods those things, since they're the ones who told me. Hmm. Now I'm not sure.

But anyway, the basic definition of a nora is just a shinki who's been named by more than one god.

Apparently shinki can be named against their will, though. Long-term, I don't think they're considered noras, because it wasn't by their own choice. It's a trust issue with noras, I think. So if I were to spend more time with other gods than my own... I guess that would make people worry.

Being shoved off to a beach party seemed more important than providing information, I suppose. Who needs knowledge when there's snacks?

I see. That's useful to know. Is this something only the old gods take seriously, or do the new ones also worry about it?

Sometimes parties can really help people feel more comfortable around each other I think... but now it's time to get serious.

I don't know if they're taking it seriously, unfortunately. You'll have to ask a fellow god about that. Sorry.

Absolutely, especially if these strange incidents are becoming more common.

I haven't heard another god so much as mention it, so perhaps the concern isn't as important as feared. My opinion has little weight, I imagine, but be friends with whom you wish and work with who you wish. Those who complain probably aren't worth either state.

I just mean that everyone's so scared of telling shinki something that maybe it's the kind of thing you can only tell other gods.

I can probably find out. If it's so, I can likely also tell you if it is, without detailing exactly what so you don't get in trouble. Then at least you'll know too instead of wondering. Wondering and never knowing is terrible.

Of course. Knowledge exists to be shared, so long as it isn't exceptionally dangerous, and I doubt this will be.
