[Text] One man washed on an empty beach

Say you hated a specific god. Maybe you only distrust them instead of hate them.
Then they die, and a reincarnation takes the god's place. Maybe it even looks like the same, but the old memories are gone.
Could you give that reincarnation a second chance in spite of your old feelings?
[Schuldig's become more contemplative thanks to his new, empathetic feelings towards his own followers and what would happen if their prayers stopped being answered. Thanks, Eros.]

Being a shinki is like a second chance. I dont know why I would need one but I'll keep doing my best. (。•̀ᴗ-)✧
Why does it matter now, Anon?

Basically if the Far Shore people aren't willing to think of each incarnation as separate people, I'm convinced that means it could be easier or harder on each next incarnation to help these followers my team is building up.
Which also makes you wonder what kind of person the predecessor was too.

So you're worried if you go away and a new you comes back, the new you will have a hard time?
Or are you already a new you and having a hard time because of the old you?

Hmmmmmmm
Are you sorry about what the old you did?

It's difficult to say.
[Because of the spell he's under.]
Some of it feels justified - not that they were 'good' things, but things that needed to be done.
Others... maybe could have been handled in other ways.

If you did something bad, it's harder to forgive someone who doesn't really feel sorry.
No one wants to think bad things happened because they needed to be done or that they weren't that bad to you, youknow?

Every single group that controls a country or polity has things they do that aren't 'good' but needed to be done.

( What in the world. )
You have to treat them like people!

The rulers of those countries.
