Has anybody seen Vector since that last time he posted? It sounded like he was going to head out right away. And I think he should have been back by now.

Also, does anybody know anything about what Hell is like here? Or how he would've gotten in?

I haven't been able to figure out how to get to the Summons Department to ask yet. I guess I lost that access along with the promotion.

So anyway, it'd be great if you could help! I'll owe you one! Thanks!

If he went to a place like that, I think it's pretty obvious what must've happened to him.

Is there really much of a difference between "being trapped in Hell" and "being dead"?

If he was stupid enough to go in without an exit plan, that's his fault.

Are you certain that's where he went? If he vanished by some other means, it would be foolish of you to go to such a dangerous place even with a plan. Is there anyone else who might be able to confirm his last whereabouts, or anything else that could have happened to him to put him out of contact?

That seems like a good place to check first. Are shinki reassigned immediately if their god vanishes? [that's the impression he got from what he's seen on the BBS, anyway...] If he hasn't been reassigned, then it's possible his god is still alive.

I don't see much reason in going on such a dangerous mission myself, but admittedly I'm curious about this world's "Hell"... I will hope for your success, if you decide to pay it a visit, kuku.

Ah. That certainly complicates matters. He didn't have any other shinki?

What does that have to do with anything? It's just a normal laugh, stop making bizarre assumptions.
[he totally thinks it makes him sound cool, shut up]

It's a low chuckle, it wouldn't make any sense for me to use a "haha" laugh in that context. It would sound and look completely out of place. A low chuckle like "kuku" or "keke" is much more versatile in its application.

In that case, it doesn't sound like you have many options. Do the heavens keep track of gods at all? They should at least be able to say if he's being relieved of his post, if they're in charge of bringing in replacements.

You don't need to trust their answer to gain information from it. I wonder what their thoughts would be on a god venturing into hell, anyway? Is that something they would discourage? Perhaps they'd be glad to lose a troublesome god to a place like that, kukukuku. [definitely not an evil laugh]

Also, would Vector have known how to get to hell on his own? Or would he have had to find that information from another source? If it's the latter, you could also try tracking down the informant.

Myths aren't the most reliable source, that's why they're considered myths and not facts. Stories can also conflict with eachother. For example, "hell" in one set of beliefs could be in a completely different location than it is in another set of beliefs, so which one is correct? Or perhaps the location has been moved but the myths continue to reference the old location. There are many possibilities to consider.

Following the myths surrounding the location wouldn't be a bad place to start, though it would be faster to find an older god who would be able to pinpoint the location from personal experience. Still, where Vector ended up depends entirely on where he got his information from.

Do be sure to share the results if you find anything. Such information could be useful someday, or if your little trip is a failure and others need to plan a counter-rescue. [but mostly because he finds it interesting...]
