Yo!

[The video feed flicks on to reveal the grinning face of one Barry Goodman. As he steps back, arms folded confidently, a view of the room he's standing in opens up  It's large and empty, with wooden floors, burnished steel bars along the walls, and with plenty of natural light streaming in through the windows. In short, it's a dance studio.]

I'm proud to announce the grand opening of my new talent agency: Sparkle Motion! With as many stars as there are in the heavens!

[His smile widens, and he dramatically waves his arm.]

...Well, someday, anyway. That's where you guys come in. I know heaven's got talent - I've seen it. So I'm gonna do what I do best - help all you stars out there shine as bright as you can! After all, we can't spend all our time fightin' ayakashi, right?

[Letting out a big laugh, he folds his arms again.]

So if you think you've got real star power, come on and show me what you've got! Hahaha!

I'll come over right now!

[very_goodman]

I'll be waitin'! Come with your best song!

[And he sends over the directions for her.]

[It doesn't take her too long to show up, cheerfully waving.]

I'm here and ready to sing!

[very_goodman]

[Barry greets her with a cheerful wave of his own, motioning her inside.]

All right, let's hear it, then!

[She'll practically skip in before starting on on Love Marginal.]

[very_goodman]

[Barry claps for her at the end, smiling brightly.]

You've been practicin', haven't ya? It shows.

[purehonkproject]

You can tell? Ah, I'm so glad. It's hard to figure out if I'm getting better when I'm practicing alone.

[very_goodman]

Yeah, it helps to have somebody listenin'. And from now on, that's what I'm here for!

[Grinning, he proudly thumbs at his chest.]

I'm looking forward to working with you more!

A couple of days ago I woke up to a CD too. [She'll dig it out of her bag and hand it over.] I'm not sure where it came from.

A CD? Why didn't ya say so before? We coulda played it while you sang!

I'm singing with two other people there... it might sound weird?

[very_goodman]

Huh. Well, let's hear it anyway!

[purehonkproject]

[She'll put it on, letting the version of Love Marginal with all three voices play.]

They sound good all together, don't they?

[very_goodman]

Yeah, real nice harmony there.

[He wonders who the others are, but he's not going to wonder that out loud, knowing how bad it would be to get Honoka thinking along those lines.]

Think ya might wanna try singin' in a group here?

If anybody else wants to! I'd love to be in a group.

It sounds like a lot of fun, singing and dancing together.

How do ya feel about violins? There's a real cute girl named Elise that I've been thinkin' about tryin' to hook up with some other performers.

I think they're super pretty! I'd love to sing with somebody who played it.

[Barry grins, extending his hand for her to shake.]
