I'm curious about the other shinki here. From my understanding, we all are given unique forms or "vessels" which are used to serve our gods. These vessels can range from a variety of items, though they are primarily intended to be used as weapons or protection against Ayakashi. However, I haven't seen any lists of examples or surveys regarding what these forms may be. It's difficult to gauge what to expect without any examples to draw upon. A more comprehensive list of shinki forms and abilities would also be useful to newer gods and shinkis who may not be certain of what they're capable of, or how a more unorthodox form might be used.

If anyone is willing to share, I wouldn't mind keeping such a list up to date.

Of course, identifying details may be removed upon request. I'm more interested in knowing the variety of forms currently available and which ones are the most common type. Information from the "new" shinki would be preferred, as opposed to the "older" shinki from before the changes in the Heavens, though I'll gladly accept your information as a separate data group.

On an unrelated note, I'd be interested to hear from anyone who's familiar with or currently a cyborg or sentient machine. I've already met a couple of you. Perhaps there are others here?

Well! If you ever use this information to take advantage of your fellow shinki, I shan't take kindly to you.

I could just as easily find out someone's vessel by following them around until it's used, so it's not exactly a well-kept secret in the first place. Only a god can make use of a vessel, so the best I could do with that information is have a moderate advantage if their god picked a fight with me. Making brutish enemies doesn't really interest me. No, I'm more interested in understanding how shinki operate. What types of forms or abilities they might carry, how a god might use those abilities, what techniques might be applied to make an otherwise useless shinki more viable, etc.

Perhaps it's not something your type would understand. Knowledge is a reward of its own. You can never know when a piece of information will become vital, so I'll gather as much of it as I can.

Oh, I agree that it's an effective deterrent. Not unlike a toxic plant that gives off an awful smell, it's quite fortunate that your temple comes with such an obvious warning, kukuku.

My temple is most certainly NOT like an awful-smelling toxic plant! And if it is enough to keep YOU away, well, then so be it!

It serves the exact same purpose, doesn't it? Can you explain how they're dissimilar? Perhaps we should poll the rest of the Far Shore to see how many find your domain completely repulsive.

A kind offer, I am sure, but I do not want to subject innocent people to my apparently uncomfortable temple. You, however--maybe you should spend a bit more time in there yourself!

Pass. If your own shinki won't even go in there, that's enough of a warning for me.

Speaking of Axel, is he still sleeping on a bench? You should really consider putting up a shack or a doghouse or something for him. Unless, of course, he's already moved out to stay in some other, more tolerable god's home. Isn't it part of a god's duties to properly care for and shelter their shinki?
