[ The video turns on showing Zero in a dark room inside his temple. A quiet look falls across his eyes as he faces the camera. He's not one to speak to people let alone about himself but after his encounter with Sheryl, he has no choice. He knows what happened even if he can't remember it. He lost control. ]

My name is Zero Kiryuu and I was here before as a shinki.

[ A pause as he squares his shoulders to face his crimes. ]

I need to know if I killed someone.

They took my memories when I was brought back as a god but that doesn't erase my crimes. I need to know what happened. What I did.

I won't let this go.

[ OOC: He doesn't know he died, he simply assumes his loss of memories is due to the whole turning a shinki into a god deal. Some kind soul, please spring that up on him. Also, for any future in-action meet ups Zero will mysteriously have some pomegranate fruit/seeds on him at all times. If you eat them you'll be sentenced (only if you want!) to stay one night at his temple before the seeds effects let them escape! ]

[ Zero leaves the main temple to meet what he assumes is one of his victims at the entrance. It's there while he's being ferried across a river by a silent silhouette that he feels a sudden pull. He stills as the shadowed figure comes to a stop at the bank of the river that cuts off his temple from the rest of the world.

A feeling of unease slowly slips into his subconscious feeling that pull sharpen as his eyes shift up to the old Temple sitting atop a small hill where where a figure moves through the ruins of its once glorious breadth.

He stares at the old edifice knowing he wasn't the first god to be heralded as Hades. Looking at the ruins of the old Temple, the Hunter can't help but wonder if it had fallen with its god, a fact Heaven's messenger had neither denied nor confirmed. But then, that isn't what brought him out here tonight. No, he has another question on his mind as he heads up the steps to the old Temple where a figure from his past awaits him. ]

[ The temple looked like it had better days. He could only assume what could possibly have happened to such a thing after all. He was staring at it mindlessly, quietly, taking in the surrounding area once he found it. It should be the right place.

He couldn't afford to be careless now thus he as completely stiff and guarded. There's no telling what will happen if he slips up. With all the given information he's learned lately, it's hard to relax. In fact, he's more than just a bit peeved by everything that has happened.

Once he catches sight of the figure moving up the steps from the corner of his eyes, he makes his way towards them, clearly with more than just questions on his mind. He's lost, confused. He needs answers and the more he wants them the more frustrating it becomes. He has no memories. He can't recall anything but he wants to. ]

[ The moment he catches sight of him everything stops. His legs, muscles, heart, breath. ]

[ He stares at the figure of his long dead brother and tears gather as grief strikes, stabbing deep into his heart creating a fissure that threatens to break it apart. And he loses his breath, the water distorting the vision above and it's all he can do to keep still in fear of shattering the illusion of-- ]

... Ichiru.

[ Those eyes... they stared directly at him yet he didn't understand why they were so fixated on him in general. He didn't remember anything and even if he tried there was nothing he could do to trigger any of his memories. At least not right now.

How did one get their memories back and why did he have to be the one lacking in that information. When the person in front of him breaks down, he can only stare at him in sudden surprise, his eyes almost widening slightly at the sight playing in front of him.

He doesn't understand why there are tears in this person's eyes and the way they recognized him is more than enough of an answer for him. They knew who he was. He said his name so casually, yet he didn't... get it. ]

So, it's true. You do know something about me.

[ Ichiru stops right in front of him, and looks at him. Even if the person is a few inches taller than him it's not intimidating at all. He grabs him square by the collar of his clothes. ]

Tell me what you know.

[ It's extremely difficult for him to even explain how he feels right now. There's so many emotions erupting inside of him but the one that's clearly visible is his desperation for the answers he seeks. ]

[ The sound of his voice shatters the illusion solidifying him before his eyes. He was... here. They had-- They had... A thin trail of water slides down his cheek as he's pulled down by the collar. He doesn't fight him. How can he? And Ichiru. He's--He's. Words get clogged in his throat as he feels the onslaught of that fissure begin to crack a frozen heart and it's all he can do to keep himself upright as those cracks spread wide and deep mirroring the onset of their relationship, not thawing but shattering. The Hunter breaks down into sobs as he hauls Ichiru into his arms, holding him for dear life as tears seep deep into his collar. ]

Wh-What are you doing?!

[ All his attempts to pry off the person was lost in that moment. He was completely and utterly caught off guard when he was hauled into the stranger's arms and pulled into a hold he couldn't break out of. What kind of inhumanly strong monster could hang onto him like that?! He couldn't even think about what he was going to say now. The action itself left him speechless.

It didn't even matter that he didn't get it. There was something weirdly nostalgic with the gesture, almost like he belonged. The whole situation only posed for him to have more questions about himself and the person in front of him. Even his grip that was iron on the other's collar had almost completely loosened.

What was happening? His mind is a huge mess of emotions. Ones that he couldn't describe and ones that he never thought he would feel. This was too much. ]

...Let go...

[ He spoke after a long moment of silence, in those arms. His tone was shaky as he spoke. ]

Who are you? Who am I? I need answers...

[ His expression scrunches slightly, brows knit together in confusion. His hands firmly gripping the other by the shoulder, showing exactly how he was feeling. They were just as shaky as his voice. ]

[ He barely registers the words beneath the sound of his steady heartbeat. There was no acrid smell of blood this time, no cold dungeon, no--- ]

Who are you? Who am I?

[ Realization slowly dawns and he pulls back, his heart breaking in his throat. No. He wasn't. He couldn't be -

A shinki. ]

[ He staggers back. His eyes fixated on him even as the message at the gods conclave echoes in his mind. He had died just like all the other shinki and just like them he couldn't be told about his past without destroying him... Turning him into an ayakashi a monster just like a Level E. ]

Ichi-ru.

[ His voice breaks and he desperately tries to control it, control the tears still falling as the image of his dead brother stares back at him asking for the one thing he couldn't give him. ]

[ He couldn't. He couldn't tell him how much he missed him, how much he loved him. How deeply he was embedded into his soul!

Why?! Why did he always ask for the impossible?! What he couldn't give him?! Why did it always have it be this way with them?! ]

[ In the end, he's left empty, staring back at him, the tears finally drying.

How...

How had it turned out like this? ]

[ Ichiru's brows knit together as the man finally puts himself back together. There's clearly a lot of emotions displaying on his face right now and it's bothering him. He needs to calm down. He can't show his weakness like this yet, he can't.

Someone with his face knowing his name. It can't be a coincidence. From the looks of it, he doesn't look much older than Ichiru. He can be a cousin, brother or... perhaps... twins? It doesn't take a genius to register the similarities between them.

To Ichiru, being a monster is better than not being in the dark but he's always is that type of person, selfish and wanting the impossible. Even here, those sort of traits don't simply disappear. He doesn't even register how selfish he is right now demanding something from someone he doesn't remember. At the same time this person isn't giving him any answers and it's making him even more upset than ever. Usually he's calm and collected, guarded.

Right now there is no such thing. His eyes are fixed on Zero, glaring into him. He's not going to take no for an answer. The silence is telling him that Zero does indeed know more than he lets on. He won't say it. Why? ]

I don't have time for this. Your silence is telling me you know something-- no.

[ He pauses. ] You know everything don't you?

[ He roughly throws himself at Zero who backed up from him. ]

Say something!!

[ Ichiru's voice has never been the type to be loud, yet right now he's raised his voice more than he ever did in his past life-- a life he couldn't even remember. How was he suppose to swallow all of this without question? ]

[ The aggression is met with a solemn silence. Zero doesn't look at him, doesn't try to release himself, and after a full minute he finally breaks the silence. ]

I do.

[ A quiet admission. ]

...

[ He stares at the other person for a long time, trying to let the simple words sink into his head. He does know, and he admits to it, yet somehow he feels like he won't get much out of him.

Ichiru's hands slowly drops to his sides after realizing he lost control of his emotions. He looks down for a second before shooting Zero another look. ]

You won't tell me will you--? or rather... you can't.

[ Taking a calming breath, Zero slowly looks up at him. ]

Ichiru. [ A soft tone that turns solid at the question. ] Who is your god?

[ Ichiru stares back. There is no sign in his eyes that he'll simply just give up but for now, he knows it's pointless. He won't get anything this way. ]

There is none.

[ He replies softly. Ever since he came here, he had no idea who his God is and if they even exist-- they hadn't made any efforts to find him. ]

...

[ He doesn't like that his name is being called with such familiarity that he didn't understand. ]

.......

[ His face instantly sharpens at that answer as anger flickers behind light eyes. ]

They haven't contacted you?

[ Honestly, it would make more sense to him if he knew why Zero's face suddenly changed. Not that the flicker of anger makes him feel intimidated. ]

No.

[ His response was curt, but there isn't really anything he can say on the matter and explaining himself to a complete stranger doesn't fit with him, considering the knowledge they have of him. Then again, Zero might have already expected vague answers if he knew of his past. ]

[ No... ]

They don't deserve you.

[ He kept the anger stirring in his veins under wraps. ]

Where are you staying?

[ There's a sigh from him. ]

What makes you think that?

[ No really, enlighten him because he thinks you're a bit over the top. ]

Why does it matter to you where I'm staying?

[ Oops he's going to do the "answer the question with a question" comment. ]

[ Instead of answering him, he repeats the question. ]

Where are you staying?

[ Sorry, Ichiru but when it comes to your well-being Zero is not going to coddle your attitude. ]

[ He just gives him an equally neutral look. ]

I don't have to answer to you.

[ Ichiru replies avoiding the question completely. ]

After all, you're refusing to answer anything I'm asking. If you want my cooperation, then perhaps you should reconsider your strategy.

[ The young twin merely crosses his arms as he steps back. ]

[ His eyes narrow on him. ]

You know I can't answer them. You'll turn into an Ayakashi if you learn about your past through a god not your own.
