[ The video turns on showing Zero in a dark room inside his temple. A quiet look falls across his eyes as he faces the camera. He's not one to speak to people let alone about himself but after his encounter with Sheryl, he has no choice. He knows what happened even if he can't remember it. He lost control. ]

My name is Zero Kiryuu and I was here before as a shinki.

[ A pause as he squares his shoulders to face his crimes. ]

I need to know if I killed someone.

They took my memories when I was brought back as a god but that doesn't erase my crimes. I need to know what happened. What I did.

I won't let this go.

[ OOC: He doesn't know he died, he simply assumes his loss of memories is due to the whole turning a shinki into a god deal. Some kind soul, please spring that up on him. Also, for any future in-action meet ups Zero will mysteriously have some pomegranate fruit/seeds on him at all times. If you eat them you'll be sentenced (only if you want!) to stay one night at his temple before the seeds effects let them escape! ]

[ So they were right-- the people that told him about the other person that looked exactly like him. The appearance was uncanny and anyone who didn't know him or the other person would mistaken them. There was absolutely nothing about the other that was too different from his own, aside the the build of their frame, and the style of their hair. Their faces were carbon copies of each other.

So, he could ask him everything and get answers. Then perhaps maybe, he'll get the answer he wants and needs-- something.

He's staring at the device for a long time before carefully putting his fingers on the device and quietly typing. ]

[ He has so many questions right now. Zero. While that face isn't that familiar to him, the name certainly is. He'd heard it twice and both times, it never came with a pleasant feeling. ]

Can't tell you if you killed anyone
But I can say its a wonder you're back
Caused quite a bit of trouble you did

I heard you assaulted a handful of people.

Quite an entrance. I do need to speak to you in person. Where will you be?

[ Cryptic as fuck yes, why yes he is. ]

[ His eyes fall to the name before reading the message. ]

[ For a moment a flash of guilt crosses his eyes before he pushes past it and asks what they both know is coming. ]

What.
Did I do?

I met one of the people that was attacked by a vampire, I think? I don't know if it was you though.I'll let him speak for himself, if that's what he wants.

I don't know anything about deaths or other injuries. Sorry.

[Hoo boy. This is going to be nasty.]

[ He looks down at the name as the message comes in - Anonymous. Were they someone he attacked? Did he hurt them? Taunt them? Feed... on them?

His reply is instantaneous. ]

Temple of Hades.

I'll be there shortly.

[ None of the above but Zero doesn't need to know that. ]

[ With that, he pockets the device he's using and finds his way to the temple.

He spent a considerable amount of time learning his way around the place and gathering simple information that can useful to him. Eventually, he found the temple that was stated in the text. It wasn't hard to find it. So-- what will he do from here?

Ichiru doesn't answer his own thoughts as he made small steps into the temple. What he was looking for was someone who looked like him and it shouldn't be hard at all. He was just frustrated with not knowing anything, and being left in the dark. Even the thought of not having a God left him perplexed.

Somehow he survived that time on his own and somehow he managed to avoid getting involved with anything that was troublesome. He'll search the area until he finds him, the person that looks like Ichiru. ]

[ His eyes widen. He almost killed--- Who? ]

[ His hands fist at his sides and he can feel his throat start to go dry, feel the beast raising its head. It hadn't been so near the surface since he woke up from his coma but now, he could feel its teeth digging into his throat, wanting release and Zero forces it down, the Hunter in control of the beast. ]

Who.

Who did I almost kill?

[ He can't exactly remember. But he'll respect that line of reasoning. He won't force anyone to come forward if they don't want too. ]

What happened.
When the vampire attacked?

[...this was going to be very complicated in a hurry wasn't it.]

It was over a week ago when I saw them. They said they were healing from the attack.

We were busy at the time, so it was the bandages on his neck and his arm...I didn't really notice until he showed me. We were trying to get someone off the street.

I don't have many details.

I'm sorry.

[There's a bit of hesitation on Izumo's part, briefly wondering at first if this was Ichiru but then there's that question and it clicks.

Anger is a quick reaction, but he stomps it down for now.]

What good would it do for you to remember what you've done?

Zero... it's really you, isn't it?

[ I need to know if I killed someone.

What a chilling thought, to be brought back to life with the notion that one may have killed another. She couldn't even imagine what he must be going through. ] Did they take all your memories? Do you remember being a shinki?

Remembering your crimes won't make them forgivable.

[ Zero leaves the main temple to meet what he assumes is one of his victims at the entrance. It's there while he's being ferried across a river by a silent silhouette that he feels a sudden pull. He stills as the shadowed figure comes to a stop at the bank of the river that cuts off his temple from the rest of the world.

A feeling of unease slowly slips into his subconscious feeling that pull sharpen as his eyes shift up to the old Temple sitting atop a small hill where where a figure moves through the ruins of its once glorious breadth.

He stares at the old edifice knowing he wasn't the first god to be heralded as Hades. Looking at the ruins of the old Temple, the Hunter can't help but wonder if it had fallen with its god, a fact Heaven's messenger had neither denied nor confirmed. But then, that isn't what brought him out here tonight. No, he has another question on his mind as he heads up the steps to the old Temple where a figure from his past awaits him. ]

[ ...Gods. Where does he even begin? He doesn't remember. He doesn't remember anything. Which means... ]

[ The flash of Zero biting him quickly replays--but soon it's overshadowed by all the small, good things. The falling asleep with him under cherry blossoms, he return of a small kitten, the cellphone hunting and back-and-forthing with a strange doll... ]

[ There is an audible, deep breath on the other end of the line. ]

It is... very responsible of you, Zero-san, to wish to know of what you did during your time as a shinki. Most people might have run away from such a thing and blamed it on the fact that they couldn't remember.

...I'm glad.

Kimihiro.

[ He repeats the name. A god of compassion.... He had almost killed a god of compassion. He swallows thickly, past the lump growing in his throat and its all he can do to keep his thoughts from falling back into that dark forest that surrounded his thoughts, closing in on him the moment he let them stray too far. ]

No. I can't.

Don't.
Don't apologize. Not to me.

[ After a minute of silence, a second text comes through. ]

How long.
How long has since he was attacked?

[ He was still healing.... He had to know, needed too. ]

Ignorance isn't something I'm willing to choose.
No matter the outcome, I need to know.
What I did. Who I hurt.
I need to know.

[ He assumed Zero died. Having been in the business of death for a bit of time, of course he'd know about second chances. But the thought that death really doesn't work the way it should here is enough to send a chill down his spine. ]

You came to my lady's temple, a starved and crazed man. Out of the kindness of her heart she offered her blood to you in hopes of bringing you back from your insanity, but then you feasted on her and nearly drained her dry. You almost killed her, and you would have killed her if I had not intervened.

Then, you came for her a second time as an ayakashi.

[He won't mention that it was Sanae that put him down; that's for her to say, not him. He won't talk about the tears, the guilt and hurt that had plagued Sanae, a guilt and hurt that came from having to kill her friend.

He's not here to multiply the man's guilt. But he wants Zero to know what he did so that this whole disaster will never be repeated again.]

My lady says that you lost your mind because of what you are, and that had you been of sound mind you would never have attacked her. Regardless of your intentions I must ask that you stay away from her until you find a lasting solution to your thirst for blood, less you fall to your impulses again.
