As a newcomer to this place, I feel like I should warn everyone about a man named Xehanort. I don't know if he's here or if he's been here and left, but either way do not trust him. No matter what he says, no matter what he does, it is all a lie and he is just trying to use you for his own good. The same goes for a woman named Maleficent, but especially Xehanort. I don't want to see anyone getting hurt by him, if he ever shows up.

[At least he did give an offer. Wouldn't blame him for not suddenly trusting a complete stranger. That would be stupid. Unless you're Sora.]

Now then, who exactly is Xehanort and what does make him dangerous?

[Some may be willing to push it aside but if he is dangerous as mentioned, he wants to know what and if they can be a danger to friends and allies here.]

A Keyblade Master who wants to destroy the world and has learned how to use darkness to take over someone else's body.

[Sora's a bit late to the party because he's too busy screaming into a pillow with everyone's reactions and trying really hard not to smash his hands across his keyboard.

He gets people wanting to be cautious but why can't people take to heart that this really is serious? He doesn't want anyone getting hurt.]

everything terra says is true. he's hurt people and he's using the power of darkness to try and get a new body and wants to destroy worlds and creates monsters called Heartless to take over the worlds of light and take people's hearts. he's bad news and if he shows up here im going after him

[Seeing the difference in Sora's texting concerns him and so does the immediate going after him bit. That triggers his militant training which screams how wrong it is. There are so many things that can happen and even if he has no clue what the hells Heartless are, instinct is saying DO NOT DO THE THING.

Oh fuck it, he's switching to voice. It will mean much more than words on a screen. And when it does? It's firm but not furious. More like concern because HE KNEW PEOPLE WHO DID DUMB THINGS ON IMPULSE.

Nay Sora, if what both of you speak of is true, t'would be disastrous to face him head on. You must think of what can happen to the people here and if he finds a way to sway others to his side. I know little of these heartless or of keyblade users but I am familiar with battle and war: jumping in without a plan will only result in your defeat.

It was Unversed for me, but he's right Sora. That's how he got me--I went up against him alone.

[And then suddenly Sora's getting dad attacked with stern dad voices.]

I can't stand and let him hurt people anymore. I can't.

[In this instance he misses Donald and Goofy and Riku so much. He has friends here that would back him up, he knows he's not alone. But he's supposed to be stopping Xehanort. And suddenly Sora feels so much frustration. He's not the type to stand around and let something bad happen.]

Me either, Sora, but you can't go up against him alone and without a plan. He will kill you or worse.

[Is this how Estinien felt when it came to Nidhogg? Was this how he thought as he trained to become the Azure Dragoon and to down the beast? Thankfully this was only voice and not video because on instinct, Aymeric touches his chest. It was not an old battle scar he thought of at that moment.]

He is right, my friend. No one is speaking about leaving him alone and to do nothing but suddenly trying to make something right can be costly and not just to you but to your friends and loved ones as well.

[A sharp intake of breath.]

I fear this may be a bit much for one whom had just met but heed these words well Sora because when I speak of going in without any plan, 'tis from personal experience. I am not willing to have anyone needlessly sacrifice their life if they can be spared by a different tactic. If this man comes, then show vigilance. Keep close watch on him but do not attack. Defend yourself if it comes to it but never engage.

[Sora is quiet for a few short moments. He feels the pain Xehanort caused deep in his heart. And if he came here to hurt more of his loved ones... Sora doesn't want to think about it.

But both of them rationalizing he knows it would be stupid to run in guns ablaze. It's just hard to listen to people saying that evil man is redeemable that hurts. But it's his love and respect for Aymeric and his new respect for Terra that settles him down.]

Yeah I know you're right. I'm sorry this all just really gets under my skin. I won't do anything stupid. But I'm not gonna be quiet about it either.
