As a newcomer to this place, I feel like I should warn everyone about a man named Xehanort. I don't know if he's here or if he's been here and left, but either way do not trust him. No matter what he says, no matter what he does, it is all a lie and he is just trying to use you for his own good. The same goes for a woman named Maleficent, but especially Xehanort. I don't want to see anyone getting hurt by him, if he ever shows up.

Well, I have no idea who you are either. Two people telling me something doesn't make it true. Imagine if we simply never questioned that the world was flat? A strange person is a strange person, and in the end, you have to earn a person's trust, no matter who you are.

I could go around warning you about a merciless killer, but then you could find out later that said person had killed someone I cared about because they were the monster. I'm turning it on it's head because it's smart to do so, and because it's not right to single someone out before they've even existed in our memories.

Humans are terrible about creating a mob mentality when these kinds of warnings are involved.

so just because you don't know me you're going to not care about how other people feel because you haven't met the other person yourself? you wanna talk to the murderer first hand before you make a decision? that's your own problem then if you don't want to take someones heartfelt warning

these two people hurt me and my friends over and over again and threatened me and the people important to me and i'll say everything i need to say to protect others from being hurt from them

if you don't wanna believe me i'm still gonna say it because i don't want to see anyone getting hurt they way i've been

Yes, precisely. I'd like to talk to the accused first. It's called judicial, my friend. This is effectively a lynching, and can be considered libel. As a person who has studied law, and as a person who has made enemies of good people in the past, it doesn't sit right with me that someone take your words at face value.

That is called a personal grudge. Something not everyone should be dragged into. So warn your family and friends, but as for me, I don't need to believe a word you say, having only the opinion and bias of your own hurt party.

You may be a good person, but I can't know that. This person here may also be a good person, but I can't know that, having never met either of you. Do you understand where I'm coming from? Coming from a place of hurt doesn't automatically make you right, and people who are unrelated to the situation shouldn't simply take your word for it just because you say you are right and have conviction.

well good luck with trying to talk to him first because he'll be too busy using people or stealing my body or hurting people for his own good

what's the purpose of posting online if people can't say something that's important to them and try to protect others. being quiet and saying nothing at all is worse

this isn't a personal grudge because people should be warned about people like him he should be exposed for what he is

[Dio paused for a moment, chewing on his lower lip. Xehanort was not an unfamiliar name to him, having known some Nobodies already, as well as some other people familiar with the name...]

You can't know that. You can't know what has been happening on his end, his thoughts, his motivation. You can only guess based on what you've seen, and you may not have seen everything.

The idea of 'exposing someone for what they are' is just... It reeks of self-righteousness and being blinded by your own preconceived notions. You are attempting to be judge, jury, and executioner. It isn't right, it isn't lawful.

If something were to happen, you have every right to warn friends and put in a witness testimony, but for now, even if no one agrees with me, I'd prefer if you refrained from unsubstantiated claims.

Sora may not but I can. I have seen everything.

He stole my body because his was too old and he wanted to see what would happen if he started a war between pure light and pure darkness.

He killed my master and father, hurt to the point of breaking one of my best friends, and I don't even know what he's done to Aqua as by that point he had taken over my body and heart and was doing a damned good job at trying to take over my mind as well.

If you don't want to believe me, that's fine. It may seem like a personal grudge to you. But Xehanort is dangerous and will try to kill you. And Maleficent isn't much better. Just weaker.

Also sounds a lot like accusing a man who can't defend himself since he seems to be absent currently.

It's not right. It is not right to stand before people and drag another person for your past with them. If he's truly that awful, then he'll show it in time, and when he does, we'll deal with it as a community.

You ask us to believe in you without any proof of wrong-doing aside from your testimony. You ask us not to give another person a chance. And you ask this with them completely unable to defend themselves. It's unethical.

Actually, don't, because if you're calling me "unethical" for warning people about a man capable of bodysnatching, brainwashing, murder, and planned genocide, a man who gleefully boasted about everything, then I don't think you need to be anywhere near them, or Sora, or me.

I think it's unethical because you could very well be destroying a man's chance at redemption! Do you think that it'd do anyone any good, if something were to happen and that man wanted to better himself, and then he finds himself shunned and publicly being defamed?!

No, what you would have then is a desperate man with nothing to lose who is capable of body-snatching, brainwashing, murder, and possibly genocide! You'd create more of your own problem in destroying his reputation, and let's face it, half of the people here have no memories of their own lives, their motivations, the things that give them a reason to live and fight for better things.

We all here have new lives, new purposes, and we need to give others the chance to make with their lives what they will. If what you want to do with YOUR life is fear-monger and ostracize people for their past, then you and this Sora can stay the hell away from me and mine as well.
