February 15, the beginning:
There was a banquet to welcome them and we native gods were given instructions to make them feel welcome and help them acclimate. Amaterasu was present but she didn't show herself.
New arrivals.
February 24, a rift on the Near Shore:
The assault and ensuing battle lasted until mid afternoon of the next day. Amaterasu again sounded the call to arms but didn't show herself. Hajime's already mentioned this.
New arrivals.
March 5, Hinamatsuri celebration:
A banquet, as well as Heavenly orders to prevent a number of unoccupied boats on the Kamo River from striking the banks. The boats seemed supernaturally driven towards beaching on the edge of the river.
New arrivals.
March 15, poisoned chocolates:
There were a bunch of left over chocolates from White Day, so the Heavens asked us to give them out. However something went wrong at some point where they were delivered from the heavens to us because all the chocolate was ayakashi infused. Some of them were small and tried to make people commit suicide. The strange ayakashi from the Susano'o rebellion were also present here, and those only attacked gods and shinki.
All chocolates were of the same brand, Fujisaki Confectioneries. Anybody from the Far Shore who ate that chocolate had food poisoning.
We don't have any hard numbers, but Amaterasu did release a statement after it happened. But considering how many chocolates were given out I doubt we managed to collect all of it back, casualties were probably somewhere in thirties or above.
A statement from Amaterasu.
New arrivals.
March 26, cherry blossom viewing, part 1:
A completely normal cherry blossom viewing at night. No attacks. The Heaven's provided a banquet as an apology.
New arrivals.
April 5, school ayakashi:
There was a large public school in Tokyo where most of the teachers fell ill. It seemed suspicious to the Heavens, so we were sent to look into it. Apparently the illness was upsetting entire families, some of the teachers were looking to quit and a lot of the students were planning on transferring.
We heard a male voice say, "Ah, yes. I know you're all eager to go home, but please indulge me just this once. I need your spirits now, students. Be sure they are nice and energetic for me," over the speakers. The doors locked and then there were jello-like ayakashi with cords.
The jello ayakashi arrived after the doors locked. The students panicked and tried to get out of the doors and windows.
Everything unlocked after they were dealt with. The ayakashi cords seemed to come from principal, but I don't know if he was the person who was speaking or if there was somebody else. Principal was passed out and covered in green jello, but otherwise he seemed fine.
New arrivals.
April 15, spring cleaning:
We were asked to clean out the Main Hall of the Heavens, older temples and were given dinner. There were some interesting finds, but other than that no attacks.
New arrivals.
April 19, Susano'o's rebellion:
Susano'o's warning
Susano'o had augmented ayakashi for his own gain (?). There was also a shinki that went out of control, but seems to be fine now. Susano'o died, impaled on his shinki's claws.
Amaterasu's statement on the rebellion
Suijin's report
April 25, the cherry blossom fires:
We were given a picnic, food provided by the Heavens. This time the cherry blossoms' scent was intoxicating (why? It's hard to look into it since they've burned.) Around sunset the fire began, spreading through them unnaturally fast. There were papers that read "Down with the Heavens! Down with Amatarasu!" There's a possibility this incident was tied to the poisoned chocolates during March.
New arrivals.
April 28, ayakashi in heaven:
Axel turned into an akayashi from asking after his memories and thus turned into an ayakashi. Every god who had him as a nora was affected by blight.
He died and did not return.
Add's statement
May 4, vampire attack:
There are vampires in the Heavens? Attacked at least Kido and Hajime, neither died from the attack, but they were drained of blood. Vampire (?) had white hair and red eyes- possibly his quirk?
May 5, despondent Near Shore residents:
Humans were walking into things and getting hit by things and not reacting. They weren't paying attention to the danger around them (brought to mind the school ayakashi incident), but this time it affected an entire town instead of just one school.
The longer we were there the worse we felt. It seemed as though energy was being drained from our bodies? I spiraled into thinking about all the things I wasn't able to do. Did anyone else have a similar experience?
There was a large park in the center of this town, and it had a weird circle.
Picture attached
It was around the entire park, there were candles around the edges. It looked like there was a cup in the middle, with a swirling eye pattern mask on it.
Assumption: a large scale ayakashi induced this state?
New arrivals.
I haven't been here since the beginning and I don't think I'm aware of everything that's happened. So if you have something to add or questions, hopefully we can use this to better consolidate our information.

To answer your question: this is Japan's heaven. There are times when gods from other lands are brought here and are assimilated, as was my case, but this doesn't happen very often. Only in certain circumstances where followers of said gods move to this nation and bring their beliefs with them.
That being said, there doesn't seem to have been a rise in migrants lately. At least not enough for there to warrant a god being brought to this world.
no subject
So the way there are this many foreign gods, now, that's completely abnormal? As is us being mortals before we were brought here? Sorry if it's weird to ask, but as far as you can remember, have you always been a god?
As somebody who was assigned a god from the Greek pantheon, I don't think Aidos had very many believers here to begin with.
[Private]
I've heard from two people now about the mask from the May 5th incident being connected to "the Sorcerer" and they used mask like that was used to control ayakashi.
One of them mentioned you knew more about it.
no subject
I've always been a god. I've never once been human. This is why gods assign exemplars from among their shinki. Having once been human, shinki know of human weakness. They know of injustice and pain. An exemplar is meant as a guide to a god, to point them toward a path befitting of their position.
[Private]
That would be Shun. He was the one I met on the Near Shore during that incident.
The mask was used to name an ayakashi, much the same way a god names a shinki. Ebisu attempted this once. This is why he appears as a child, if you've ever seen him. An attempt to control ayakashi the way he had is unheard of and expressly forbidden. His experiments involved a mask much like the one that was seen at that circle.
Although Ebisu was guilty, the true culprit was someone we only know as The Sorcerer. He was responsible for attacking my estate with an ayakashi that had been tamed using a mask much like that one.
no subject
How did you pick your exemplar?
[Private]
I haven't seen Ebisu before, but I'll keep all of that in mind. Have there been any other attempts to control ayakashi before? Or has that mask been seen in use before Ebisu?
I've also heard a little bit about The Sorcerer, but I didn't know he tried to attack anybody specific. Would they have any reason to go after you specifically? Or can you think of anybody who might have a grudge against the Heavens?
no subject
Or perhaps in Kazuma's case, the only shinki I had remaining at the time. But then, I couldn't name anyone more suited to the position.
[Private]
The first time anyone ever saw that mask was at Ebisu's estate. The attack on my shinki came before he was exposed but before then, no one had ever seen them much less knew what they were for.
I can't imagine why he would target me specifically. But the circumstances leading to that attack involved one of my shinki who we discovered had been turned into a nora by this sorcerer. Kugaha had started to believe I was growing soft and unfitting of my position as a god of war. He sought to force my rebirth and used the masked ayakashi against the rest of my shinki.
Private
Did the masked ayakashi attack have something to do with Kazuma being your exemplar?
So when gods- native gods- die here they don't really die?
Also do you know where I could find a library in heaven?
Private
I believe Kugaha's plot had nothing to do with Kazuma being my exemplar. He was merely acting on his own beliefs that I needed to be reborn with him as my exemplar. I received no blight from him during the entire incident which led me to believe he had no remorse for his actions. He truly believed what he was doing was what needed to be done.
When a god dies, they are reborn if they have enough followers. It is belief that keeps us alive. Gods much like myself or Ebisu or Benzai for example are in no danger if we were to perish someway. We would be reborn as children with no previous memory of our past incarnations. However, if a lesser god -- much like Yato, for instance -- were to die, they disappear.
If you have need of a library, I have one at my estate.
Private
Do you think that holds for the new gods too? Or is it just the ones who have been established here?
Shinki don't come back do they? Not normally?
Thank you, I'll probably be by if you don't mind.
Private
I can't say for certain if it holds true for these newly established gods. At least not those who aren't Japanese deities to begin with.
It isn't normal for a shinki to return after they've been killed, if that's what you mean. However, these past few instances are starting to prove otherwise. I'm certain you've heard of one shinki? His name was Hisoka and he returned after a few days as a god. This has never happened.
Feel free to come by whenever you wish. I'll tell Kuraha to allow you free passage to the manor.
