I've been wondering, is there any kind of stigma against a god and shinki flirting, or even dating? Not just any god and shinki, but like... a partnered pair. Or is that too weird, is it like getting hit on by your boss or something?

The whole 'god and weapon' relationship is still strange for me, and I'm trying to wrap my head around it, but I might be holding a torch for my partner. I'd just like to know if it's something I should pursue, or if I should attempt to put it down.

[He thinks that's probably enough for the question, mostly since he doesn't want to be found out, nor does he want to accidentally say something about their past and mess up everything.]

Breaking the laws of physics is cheating.

[If one knew Hibari well, they would almost say that he was sulking at such an unfair move against him. However to most, he just looked angry as normal. For him, a real fight was one where the opponent didn't use cheap tactics to run away.

But that was just his opinion.

And now his opponent...was a cat? A talking cat? And a very cute one.

This was the most frustrating part. As much as he convinced himself that this cat was his enemy, he couldn't attack it, not while it looked so harmless. Hibari believed himself as being someone with a healthy respect of nature and frown on any who didn't give him and it the proper respect.

And because of that, now all he really wanted to do was pet the Dio cat. He didn't put the tonfa away, but he looked like much less on the warpath then before.]

Enough small talk.

You aren't a real, just some soul dragged in to do the job of one. And even if you were...I don't believe in you.

[He was more than a little disillusioned, not only by the force of his leftover personality, but by the environment here. Gods here did very ungodly things and were far weaker than a holy person would be thought of to be.

But when the cat rolled over, Hibari's hand twitched. Not because of the tonfa, but because the soft fluffy belly looked very inviting. He'd have to be strong; there was no way he was petting an enemy. His hand twitched again.]

I don't care if it makes you real or not. All it does is cease any power you have over me.

[And that was one thing he wouldn't allow. No god would lay claim over his life and his beliefs; they were things he held alone. And he knew perfectly well the world held less than savory gods, as he'd met very many of them.]

Think of yourself a god all you want, it changes nothing for me.

[Except he was gonna....reach out and scratch at the kitty's stomach.......]

[Petting a cat was completely different than letting someone control you, and Hibari would fight that point to the death. It didn't help the cute cat had very soft fur and he still looked like he ate a lemon as he stroked it.]

Then make your point. I have no time for your ridiculous attempts at mind games.

I have powers too and yet, I am not a god by this world's standards. I suspect I am not by my own's either, but just because you are strong does not make you a god.

[It was actually something Hibari had been mulling over a lot in his head lately; he felt as if it were an important question even before he lost his memories. The cat's fur was still just as soft and he buried his hand into it, even if the expreession never lost its sourness.]

Therefore, the only thing that sets apart a god from a human is if someone believes you are a god. I do not, and therefore you are no god to me.
