I've been wondering, is there any kind of stigma against a god and shinki flirting, or even dating? Not just any god and shinki, but like... a partnered pair. Or is that too weird, is it like getting hit on by your boss or something?

The whole 'god and weapon' relationship is still strange for me, and I'm trying to wrap my head around it, but I might be holding a torch for my partner. I'd just like to know if it's something I should pursue, or if I should attempt to put it down.

[He thinks that's probably enough for the question, mostly since he doesn't want to be found out, nor does he want to accidentally say something about their past and mess up everything.]

Personally, I think it's a terrible idea.

[ Then again, his current shinki is his own brother, so... ]

If they're your own shinki, you already know more about them than they'll ever know about themselves. You have to keep things from them or risk losing them forever. The entire relationship between gods and shinki is already grounded in lies and deception, so why the hell would you want to make anything more out of it when that's all it'll ever be?

And you were incapable of making that decision for yourself? Do you ask others for their opinion on what clothes to put on in the morning as well?

If you want to do it, do it, but if it blows up in your face because something you say or do triggers something in them, don't whine about how others told you to.

Used to being reviled, yet afraid of whether or not something is socially acceptable? If that's what you're concerned about, then I feel sorry for your shinki.
