I've been wondering, is there any kind of stigma against a god and shinki flirting, or even dating? Not just any god and shinki, but like... a partnered pair. Or is that too weird, is it like getting hit on by your boss or something?

The whole 'god and weapon' relationship is still strange for me, and I'm trying to wrap my head around it, but I might be holding a torch for my partner. I'd just like to know if it's something I should pursue, or if I should attempt to put it down.

[He thinks that's probably enough for the question, mostly since he doesn't want to be found out, nor does he want to accidentally say something about their past and mess up everything.]

It isn't. I've become painfully aware that repressing feelings from my shinki has its share of disadvantages. For a time, we lived by hiding discomfort and pain from each other. I'd like for no one else to make the same mistake I have.

However, I will admit that I was blind to what my shinki was feeling. Though I did make it perfectly clear that this isn't to be discussed in public to prevent any backlash for either of us. I hope you understand my need for anonymity.

As someone remaining anonymous for a number of reasons myself, I certainly cannot fault you your anonymity.

I'm trying to make myself be more honest as well. It hasn't been something I've been very good at, especially when it comes to emotions.

I understand it will be hard. We did take a while to adjust but I find we've made considerable progress. What did help was an exchange diary. Maybe something similar could work for you?

It is something to ponder, at the least. I am at least better with my shinki than with others.

It's served to foster communication between all of my shinki and myself. Of course, it would perhaps be easier to talk things over if there are only two of you.

Whatever you choose to do, speaking to them will be imperative. If you do wish to pursue them, its best to see what their feelings are on the matter.
